The Kohm, a primary weapon, is an Automatic Shotgun of Grineer design which has a unique function of firing additional pellets at and increasing its fire rate the longer its being fired.
The Kohm is an automatic shotgun that has a unique ability of firing more pellets each shot along with its rate of fire increasing the long the trigger is held.
- Accuracy: Has an accuracy of 8 able to accurately hit enemies at low to medium ranges.
- Critical Chance: Has a 11% chance to deal critical hits per shot.
- Critical Multiplier: Shots deal 2.3x more damage on critical hits.
- Fire Rate: Fires around 3.67 projectiles per second.
- Magazine: Capacity of 245 shots per magazine.
- Noise: Shots are alarming and will alert enemies when fired.
- Reload: Takes 2 seconds to reload a new magazine.
- Status: Has a 25% chance to proc status effects per shot.
- Trigger: Automatic – weapon fires and continues to fire when trigger is held down.
- Damage Types: 6 Impact, 6 Puncture and 18 Slash Damage
The Kohm requires a Mastery Rank of 5 before it may be used by players and must be researched before being able to buy its blueprint to craft.
In order to acquire the Kohm, it must be crafted after obtaining its blueprint.
The Kohm blueprint may be purchased from the ingame market. It may also be bought for 150 Platinum and already built.
Being an automatic shot gun it has its advantages due to its good rate of fire along with its multiple pellets as projectiles.
Its unique passive that allows it to fire multiple pellets and increase rate of fire can be put to a good advantage with many builds.

Following the Kohm’s main damage type, we use Sweeping Serration to add slash damage along with Primed Point Blank/Point Blank for an overall damage increase.
Adding multishot to the build, we have Hell’s Chamber along with Vigilante Armaments.
Giving our build critical damage and critical change we have placed Blunderbuss along with Primed Ravage/Ravage.
To top it off we have added Shotgun Spazz for a faster rate of fire along with Vigilante Supplies which will convert spare ammo into shotgun ammo.
This build may not have the highest critical chance but given its large ammo capacity and high rate of fire, the odds of dealing a critical hit are high.
The amount of damage that can be done increases the longer the weapon is being fired thanks to its passive.
Elemental Critical Build
This build is similar to the previous one except the Sweeping Serration and Vigilante Supplies mods have been replaced with elemental damage mods.
With the elemental damage, the Kohm will deal increased damage to certain enemies depending on their weaknesses.
Status effects have a good chance to occur due to the multiple amount of shots that can be fired.
One must decide on which elemental mods should be used when modding for this build to deal the best amount of damage before going up against enemies.
This build is similar to the previous build except for swapping out Vigilante Armaments with Shrapnel Shot, which will give a higher chance to deal critical hits for a period of time when scoring a headshot.
Headshots may easily occur due to the multiple pellets fired per shot and will eventually trigger the Shrapnel Shot buff, giving a higher critical chance for an amount of time.
The focus of this build is to gain a high chance for critical damage and fire successive shots following the acquisition of the buff.
For this build we add the four elemental damage and status mods which combine into 2 different mods.
Adding Hell’s Chamber and Vigilante Armamentswill add to multishot to release several pellets per shot.
For overall damage we add Primed Point Blank or Point Blank if the Primed mod is not available along with Shotgun Spazz for a higher rate of fire.
This build is great for applying status effects to enemies given it is capable of firing multiple pellets and along with the mulitshot.
The combined elements may be altered by rearranging the elemental and status mods.
These are not the only builds available for the Kohm, but they are pretty useful in many situations.
There are tons of ways to mod this weapon and it all can vary depending on the user and their choice of mods.
The Kohm is a very unique weapon, being an automatic shotgun with the passive ability of having additional pellets which have infinity punch through and rate of fire per shot.
There are many builds that can be put to use because of the weapons properties.
Making use of its passive along with its high status chance can lead to many creative builds and will put an end to enemies quicker than they can reload their weapons.
