The Battacor is an altered rifle that appears to have a resemblance to sentient weapons, making it believed it has been modified to be used by the Tenno.
It features a powerful beam attack which features an automatic firing mode, allowing you to continuously fire the weapon by holding the trigger.
The beam itself deals innate Magnetic damage but this weapon also collects charges that lets you release a Radiation burst beam when fully charged.
How To Get Battacor?
The Battacor needs to be crafted but to do this, you need to first obtain the Battacor Blueprint, which can be done by replicating it.
You can replicate the Battacor Blueprint from the Energy Lab, which is located in the Dojo (if you are in a clan) but this will cost 15,000 Credits.
Upon obtaining the Battacor Blueprint, you may craft the weapon in your Foundry once you head back to your Orbiter.
If you prefer to purchase a Battacor that has already been built, you can do so for 175 Platinum from the market which includes a Weapon Slot and a pre-installed Orokin Catalyst.

Battacor Stats
The Battacor fires a short beam-like projectile that allows it to build up charges whenever enemies have been killed which can be seen by a counter near the reticle. (Magnetic Damage)
Once a charge has been built, you can discharge an attack that has increased damage by using the weapon’s alternate fire. (Radiation Damage)

Battacor Builds
1) Critical Build
Since the Battacor has a high base critical chance, we went for a build that emphasizes dealing critical damage.
With the mods in this set, the critical chance for its primary fire is boosted to 96% while its charged attack guarantees a critical hit with a 102% critical chance.
This build simply requires you to destroy your enemies with primary fire and unleash a devastating charged attack in between shots when the secondary fire is charged up.
2) Headshot Build
Our Battacor Headshot Build lacks the additional elemental damage but makes up for it with an increase in critical chance.
This is because of the Galvanized Scope Mod, which boosts the critical chance of the weapon whenever a critical shot has been dealt.
The critical chance also affects the charged attack even if a primary attack dealt the headshot, making it easier for you to get consecutive critical hits for a while.
3) Battacor Status Build
Even if the Battacor seems to be more of a critical damage weapon, it is still possible to modify it to have a Status Build.
This also increases its damage greatly and allows you to deal additional damage to enemies who have been inflicted with status effects.
The primary fire is however the most efficient way of inflicting status effects while the alternate fire is best used to inflict increased damage now and then.
4) Battacor Hybrid Build
Should you prefer to play around with both critical damage as well as status effects, the Battacor Hybrid Build would be a good choice.
This build has a better chance of inflicting enemies with status effects while also dealing critical hits often with your attacks.
The Galvanized Aptitude mod will allow you to deal increased amounts of damage to enemies inflicted with status effects, which also includes critical hits.
5) Battacor Eidolon Build
This build is also considered a Battacor Profit Taker Build since it can deal high amounts of damage and has different elemental attacks.
Its ability to deal high amounts of damage allows you to quickly deplete the health of a Teralyst, Hydrolyst, or Gargantulyst during fights.
With the right Warframe, it can easily take out powerful bosses within minutes or even seconds based on your playstyle.
Battacor Riven Suggestions
The Battacor does not lack much and if you want to further improve it to make it even deadlier, the best picks would be a Battacor Riven mod that has multishot, damage, or critical chance.
Other stats may work well but since the Battacor is already good when it comes to critical chance, this would allow you to deal even more damage.
Adding a Riven mod that gives it additional elements is also viable as this would give it more damage types to destroy your enemies with.
The market Battacor Riven price can usually reach 200 to 600 Platinum depending on how many rolls it has as well as how good the stats are.
Is The Battacor Any Good?
When we first started playing around with this weapon, we were wondering if the Battacor was worth it but eventually realized it was.
The more we were able to fill up all of its mod slots, the better it began to be when used in actual missions, being able to obliterate enemies in an instant.
The Battacor is definitely worth the trouble of obtaining and can be used efficiently with most Warframes to deal heaps of damage.
Verdict
Being that the Battacor has a resemblance to the Sentient weapons you may have seen wielded by certain enemies, it is quite obvious there is something unique about it.
The ability to defeat enemies with powerful attacks and later unleash a devastating charged attack makes it all the better to get.
Once modded with the right mods, you can use the Battacor for not just regular missions, but also when it comes to boss fights.
