Random Pal Mode is a feature that was added to Palworld following the Feybreak Update which added more variety to the game.
This allows players to experience Palworld differently instead of how you would often play the game as Pals would be placed in random locations.
While others may consider this fun, this may also be chaotic for others as there is no telling what is in store for you as you explore the islands.
What is Random Pal Mode?
Random Pal Mode is an option that you can find in the World Settings that allows you to change how the Pals will be assigned to the map.
This will replace existing Pal spawns with different ones, providing you with the chance to encounter different Pals of different levels on the map.
The random Pals are determined by the map’s Seed, which is a randomized code that you may also alter before starting the world for the first time.
How To Turn On Random Pal Mode?
To activate Random Pal Mode, you will need to create a new world and you will be able to find the option to turn the mode on in the World Settings.
Scroll to the bottom and look for Random Pal mode and you can choose between Randomize by Region or Completely Random.
Randomize by Region will change the Pals in each region based on the Seed you have while Completely Randomize will make any Pal appear anywhere.
What To Expect from Random Pal Mode?
Things can tend to be a thrill to find some of the random Pals in certain areas as you may end up finding rare ones at the start of your game.
This however can be a challenge as you may run into high-level Pals and sometimes the more aggressive ones can make things a crazy experience.
The best thing to do is to start as you normally would and be careful as you capture new starting Pals and adapt to which ones you can add to your team or base early.

A good way to survive in Random Pal Mode would be to check your surroundings first and decide where a safe spot for your base would be.
One of the best things about Random Pal Mode is that you won’t know what Pal you will run into next and this makes exploring all the more worth it.
