Exploring the Palpagos Islands allows you to discover a lot of things in Palworld and a new type of enemy was added when the Feybreak Update came out.
Predator Pals can now be found roaming the islands and these can be quite a threat to those who are not prepared to take them on.
While exploring, there is a chance that you will encounter Predator Pals, who may be defeated to obtain Predator Cores, Giant Pal Souls, and more.
How To Find Predator Pals?
Locating Predator Pals may be a bit difficult at first if you do not know where their exact spawn locations are, but you can check this guide for their coordinates.
You can distinguish Predator Pals by the red aura that they have along with the red glow in their eyes, making them pretty much like a Field Boss with additional visual effects.
These dangerous Pals will also have the title “Rampaging” above their name, which is meant to hint that they are a Predator Pal along with their appearance.
Predator Pals will not always spawn at their Spawn Location, which makes it necessary to move away or come back later before returning to check if they appear.
Fighting Predator Pals
Locating Predator Pals may be a bit difficult at first if you do not know where their exact spawn locations are, but you can check this guide for their coordinates.
Predator Pals are like Field Bosses and regardless of what type of Pal they are, approaching them will cause them to become hostile.
It is recommended to use higher-level Pals to fight Predator Pals and to use advanced weapons to deal damage while you fight alongside your Pals.
Keep in mind that unlike Alpha Pals and Field Bosses, Predator Pals cannot be captured and must be defeated instead.

Defeating a Predator Pal will provide you with a decent amount of Experience along with Predator Cores and Giant Pal Souls.
Predator Cores are required when it comes to crafting some of the items that have been added in the Feybreak Update.
Verdict
While Predator Pals cannot be captured, you can still hunt them down to obtain Predator Cores and Giant Pal Souls.
Some of the items that were added in the Feybreak Update (Pouches and Meowmere) can only be crafted if you have obtained Predator Cores from these Pals.
Predator Pals will not always spawn in their given locations, which makes it necessary to check if you head to them at the right time (day or night) and check if they spawn.
