Kitsun Noct (Location, Drops, Uses & Partner Skill)

If you are familiar with Kitsun, you will eventually discover that it has a Nocturnal (Dark Type) variant that features different active skills than its original variant.

Kitsun Noct appears as one of the Field Bosses that appeared with the release of the Feybreak Update and is exclusively found in a cave there.

Capturing this Pal provides you with a powerful mount that can alter your attacks to deal Dark Damage to your enemies.

Kitsun Noct Location Map

Kitsun Noct doesn’t appear in the wild and instead, you can find it in the Dark Flame Tunnel, which is a cave located at (-1036, -1144) around the Scorched Hill.

This is a Level 57 Field Boss named Kitsun Noct, Guardian of the Dark Flames that you may challenge to either defeat or capture.

Kitsun Noct Uses

Kitsun Noct can be added to your team, providing you with a Pal that can use Dark and Fire active skills, making it useful against more than one type of enemy.

Since this Pal can be utilized as a mount, you can ride it to get around much quicker instead of running around on foot.

Thanks to its partner skill, your attacks will deal Dark Damage as long as you are riding Kitsun Noct and this can be useful when attacking Neutral Pals.

Kitsun Noct Partner Skill

Kitsun Noct has the Fogged Mind partner skill, which allows you to ride the Pal and this allows you to control its movement and use its active skills.

Aside from being usable as a mount, Kitsun Noct will change your damage to the Dark element, which increases your damage and makes it more effective against Neutral Pals.

Keep in mind this will only take effect when you are riding Kitsun Noct as summoning the Pal will only have it fight by your side.

Kitsun Noct Work Suitability

Kitsun Noct still possesses the ability to provide structures with fire, allowing it to do tasks in your base that require Kindling.

  • Kindling (Level 2)

Utilizing Kitsun Noct’s partner skill can be useful if you want to ride it while firing your weapons at enemies, especially those that are weak against Dark Damage.

Aside from catching Kitsun Noct, you can get this Pal by breeding a Nyafia with the regular variant of Kitsun, which will produce an egg that hatches into the Dark Pal.
