Palworld: How To Get Penking Cap

The Penking Cap has a surprisingly dignified look, borrowing the Pal’s distinctive head shape to give your character something closer to a tiny royal outfit than ordinary survival gear.

It is a fun choice when you want your character to look properly dressed while still making it obvious that the inspiration came from a Pal.

The cap also carries useful defensive properties, so wearing it does not mean giving up functionality for the sake of the outfit.

Where To Get Penking Cap?

The Penking Cap Schematic 1 is sold by the Wandering Merchant at the Small Settlement for 500 Gold, giving you access to the recipe for the Common version.

Once you have the schematic, the Penking Cap can be crafted using 5 Penking Plume, a material obtained from Penking and Penking Lux.

The schematic unlocks the recipe for the cap, which can be crafted at the Primitive Workbench once you have the required Penking Plume.

Penking Cap Effects

The Penking Cap provides general protection together with a reduction to incoming Water damage, giving it an elemental defensive role alongside its distinctive appearance.

This makes it a reasonable choice when Water attacks are something you expect to encounter and you want your headgear to contribute to that resistance.

  • 60 Health
  • 300 Durability
  • Water Damage Reduction Lv. 1 (15%)

Penking Cap Uses

The Penking Cap is a good pick when you want your character’s headgear to make more of a statement, especially for outfits where a fancier look fits better than standard survival gear.

Its Water Damage Reduction also gives you a reason to bring it along against Water-based attacks, so it can serve a purpose beyond dressing up your character.

Once its stats are no longer enough for your setup, the Antique Dresser lets you keep using the Penking Cap’s appearance on compatible headgear with better protection.

How To Equip Penking Cap?

After crafting the Penking Cap, select it from your inventory and place it in the Head Armor Slot to use it as your active headgear during exploration and combat.

Its defensive bonuses and Water Damage Reduction are passive effects, meaning they remain available automatically for as long as the cap is equipped.

If you prefer another piece of equipment’s stats, keep the Penking Cap in your base and use the Antique Dresser to give compatible headgear its appearance instead.

Verdict

Penking Cap has a more put-together appearance than many of the novelty pieces in this collection, which makes it surprisingly easy to build an outfit around.

The Water Damage Reduction gives it some situational value beyond its appearance, particularly when dealing with Water-based attacks.

For a small investment of 500 Gold, the schematic is worth picking up if you like Pal-inspired gear that can look both amusing and oddly respectable.
