How To Get Pal Metal Axe in Palworld

Using an Axe to farm Wood, Fiber and other materials is an activity that you will often be doing from time to time and to farm efficiently, a good tool is needed.

While you eventually get better Axes in Palworld, the best one is currently the Pal Metal Axe, which comes after the Refined Metal Axe.

Added to the Feybreak Update, this tool will make your life much easier when it comes to hacking down trees thanks to its base damage.

How To Unlock Pal Metal Axe?

Being a late-game weapon/tool, the Pal Metal Axe will only be available once your character has reached Level 44 in your Technology Menu.

Once you have reached Level 44, you may unlock the Pal Metal Axe in your Technology Menu by spending 2 Technology Points.

Until you can unlock this weapon/tool, it would be ideal to use whichever type of Axe you have available for farming Wood and other materials.

How To Craft Pal Metal Axe?

Since the Pal Metal Axe is one of the more advanced tools that you can craft, this can only be done at a Production Assembly Line II.

After you have unlocked and built a Production Assembly Line II, you will be able to craft the Pal Metal Axe using the following materials:

  • 50 Stone
  • 100 Wood
  • 10 Pal Metal Ingot

Pal Metal Axe Uses

The Pal Metal Axe provides you with double the amount of damage to trees compared to the Refined Metal Axe. (120 vs 60 Base Damage)

Using this weapon/tool against trees will allow you to deal the most damage possible, allowing you to chop them down with fewer hits.

The faster you can chop down a tree, the faster you can collect the Wood and Fiber from it, which should help you farm a large amount of these materials in no time.

Verdict

Crafting a Pal Metal Axe is cheap compared to most of the items in the game, making it worth the effort in exchange for efficient Wood and Fiber gathering.

As you progress through the game, you will eventually have enough materials to craft this Axe once you can unlock it at Level 44.

Axes always deal the best amount of damage to trees and while Lily’s Spear is considered a good all-in-one option, the Pal Metal Axe will speed everything up.
