Palworld: Ancient Relics (How To Get, Types, Uses & Loot Table)

Ancient Relics are valuable items found throughout the World Tree, with several grades ranging from worn fragments to rare relics containing much more valuable materials.

While they have little use on their own, collecting them becomes worthwhile once you have access to the Ancient Relic Recycler, which can turn these relics into useful endgame resources and rare rewards.

Higher grade relics are particularly valuable because they provide larger amounts of guaranteed materials while also having better chances of producing some of the Recycler’s rarer rewards.

How To Get Ancient Relics?

Ancient Relics can be obtained from several activities throughout the World Tree, giving you plenty of opportunities to collect them while exploring the region.

World Tree Pals can drop the different relic grades when defeated, with stronger encounters providing better chances of obtaining higher grade relics.

You can also find Ancient Relics through World Tree treasure chests and fishing, giving you additional ways to collect them without relying entirely on combat.

World Tree Expeditions can also reward Ancient Relics, allowing you to build up a supply passively while your Pals handle the expedition.

Some high level encounters can provide large quantities of Ancient Relics, including Blazamut Ryu, which can drop all five grades with higher quality relics becoming less common.

Types of Ancient Relics

There are five different grades of Ancient Relics, with each representing a higher quality than the one before it.

  • Decayed Ancient Relic (Common)
  • Dormant Ancient Relic (Uncommon)
  • Gorgeous Ancient Relic (Rare)
  • Glowing Ancient Relic (Epic)
  • Glistening Ancient Relic (Legendary)

The grade of the relic becomes important when using the Ancient Relic Recycler, as higher grade relics provide more guaranteed materials and significantly better chances of receiving rare rewards.

Ancient Relic Uses

Ancient Relics are primarily used in the Ancient Relic Recycler, where they can be processed into World Tree materials and a variety of useful endgame rewards.

To use the Recycler, place your Ancient Relics inside its inventory, add World Tree Holy Water, and activate the structure to begin processing.

A Pal with Handiwork will operate the Recycler, allowing it to process the stored relics and produce the available rewards automatically.

World Tree Holy Water increases the Recycler’s processing speed, making it useful when you have accumulated a large number of Ancient Relics and want to process them more quickly.
