Diablo 4’s Lunar Awakening has begun, and players now have the chance to obtain amazing rewards as they progress through the event.
This event allows you to gain Ancestral Favor and as you increase your rank, you will be able to obtain certain rewards based on your progress.
One of the NPCs that have been introduced during the event is Ying-Yue, who is your go-to person when it comes to checking your Ancestral Favor and claiming your rewards.
Ying-Yue Location
Ying-Yue can be found in the town of Ked Bardu, which is in the Kotama Grasslands in the Dry Steppes, but she is a bit tricky to get to.
While you can see her clearly on the map, you will need to navigate through an alley and will be able to see her if you have yet to do the Lunar Awakening quest or have reached a higher rank.
After visiting Ying-Yue a few times, you should be a bit familiar when it comes to finding her as she will always appear in the same spot in Ked Bardu.
Lunar Night Market
Ying-Yue manages the Lunar Night Market, which is pretty much the whole Ancestral Favor rewards feature during the Lunar Awakening Event.
Speaking to Ying-Yue will allow you to check your Ancestral Favor and claim rewards once you have obtained enough reputation with her.
Checking Ancestral Favor
Checking your Ancestral Favor can be done by speaking to Ying-Yue and selecting the “How are the ancestors feeling about me lately?” dialogue.
This will open up the Ancestral Favor menu, where you can view your rank, reputation as well as the available rewards that come from when you increase your rank.
Claiming Rewards
To claim the rewards available after your Ancestral Favor Rank has increased, you may simply select the reward when you check your Ancestral Favor.
Each reward may be claimed once and this happens when you gain enough Ancestral Favor, making it necessary to grind if you want to claim everything.
Verdict
Ying-Yue will always be visible on your map, so it should not be too hard once you’re each Ked Bardu as this is the only time the NPCs in the area will appear.
Gaining Ancestral Favor is easy in the event since all you need to do is activate Lunar Shrines and defeat enemies before returning to Ying-Yue.
Interacting with Ying-Yue allows you to check your Ancestral Favor but you can also initiate a few conversations with her to learn more about the Lunar Awakening event.
