The Lunar Awakening Event has started, and players have the chance to get their hands on tons of loot while also enjoying a large XP boost along the way.
This event will last from February 4 until February 19, giving players enough time to grab all the rewards available from Ying-Yue.

How To Get Ancestral Favor?
Ancestral Favor is obtained by interacting with a Lunar Shrine, which has replaced the traditional Shrines until the end of the event.
Once you have interacted with a Lunar Shrine, it will last for 2 Minutes and during this duration, enemies that you kill will grant you Ancestral Favor.
Your Ancestral Favor Rank will increase as you continue to defeat more enemies while affected by whatever Lunar Shrine buff you have received. (This includes a 100% XP bonus too)
Where To Find Lunar Shrines?
Lunar Shrines can be found almost anywhere as they have replaced the regular Shrines that you would have encountered before the event.
A good way to find Lunar Shrines would be to check your map as you roam a certain area since the Shrine’s location will be marked on your map.
You will notice that these Shrines have a purple symbol, indicating that these are Lunar Shrines, and you can also tell by their appearance.
Lunar Shrines appear differently than the Shrines before the event, which are distinguishable by their design that honors the Year of the Snake.
All Ancestral Favor Rewards
With every rank that you reach with your Ancestral Favor, you will be able to collect certain rewards starting from Rank 1 to Rank 10. (Rank I to X)

Best Way To Farm Ancestral Favor
Headhunt Activity Zones and Helltide Zones are some of the best places where you can farm Ancestral Favor as you will encounter several enemies.
It is possible to find two or more Lunar Shrines in some of these areas and once you activate them, you can go on a killing spree.
Headhunt Activity Zones are some of the best places due to the number of enemies that spawn, especially when you activate a Cleansing Pyre. (They spawn waves of enemies)

During the Lunar Awakening Event, obtaining Ancestral Favor can easily be done and you can reach Rank 10 within a day.
