The Tree of Whispers has been one of the most visited locations thanks to the number of rewards players can get from it every season.
It used to be related to one of the endgame activities that are now available regardless of your level, which is silencing Whispers.
In Season 7, things have changed a bit as the location has been upgraded and it now serves as one of the best locations to seek out vendors and rewards.
Tree of Whispers Changes in Season 7
The Tree of Whispers used to have a few vendors that you could interact with but with the introduction of Season of Witchcraft, a lot more has been added.
Aside from the seasonal additions, you now have access to the following vendors at The Tree of Whispers:
- Alchemist
- Altars of Witchcraft
- Armory
- Blacksmith
- Coven’s Favor
- Healer
- Jeweler
- Occultist
- Purveyor of Curiosities
- Rings & Amulets
- Stash
- The Tree of Whispers (Rewards)
Some of these vendors were already available in the past while others have recently been added, and the layout of the location has changed a bit.
Tree of Whispers Location
The Tree of Whispers remains at the same location as the previous seasons, and you can find it at The Writhing Mire in Hawezar.
Those who have previously unlocked The Tree of Whispers Waypoint and have skipped the Main Story to focus on the Seasonal Activities will be able to fast-travel to this location early.
How To Get Rewards From Tree of Whispers?
The Tree of Whispers provides rewards to those who collect Grim Favors, which can be done by silencing Whispers found in certain locations.
Collecting 10 Grim Favors will allow you to obtain rewards, which come in the form of different coaches that you can select.
These coaches will be different each time as they have a certain drop table that will always have a random set of rewards to choose from.
How To Turn in Grim Favors?
Visit The Tree of Whispers
After collecting 10 Grim Favors, you won’t be able to collect any more of them and the other Whispers will be greyed out.
You may collect your reward by heading to The Tree of Whispers (fast-travel recommended) and may interact with the tree to claim your rewards.
A choice of 3 different caches will be available and upon selecting one, it will go straight to your inventory and may be opened to get loot.
Visit Raven of the Tree
Another new feature that was recently added, the Raven of the Tree acts as a messenger of the Tree of Whisper and a traveling vendor that provides the same rewards. (Found in Headhunt Zones)
Interacting with the Raven of the Tree after you have collected 10 Grim Favors will allow you to choose rewards just as you would with the Tree of Whispers.
This provides you with an alternative way to collect rewards so you can stay in the Headhunt Zones and continue completing Whispers.
How To Get Grim Favor?
Grim Favor is obtained by completing Whispers, which may often be found in specific areas such as Helltide Zones, Headhunt Zones, and the Field of Hatred.
To obtain Grim Favors as rewards for completing Whispers, you will need to complete their objectives, which are different for each Whisper.
You may check how much of Grim Favor you have collected by viewing your map and may also check where the Whispers are located this way.
Verdict
The Tree of Whispers is one of the best ways to get a lot of loot early in the game and can be a great way to swap out old equipment with better ones.
Farming Grim Favors efficiently is important, which makes it vital to be able to complete Whispers as soon as you can. (Upgrading your equipment often is recommended)
Each time you obtain rewards from the Tree of Whispers, you also get a large amount of XP, making it a good way to level up your character during seasons.
