You and Eru previously made your way into the Madman’s Archives to find clues related to where Neyrelle has gone off too.
Eru believes that she has made her way to Travincal and knows how dangerous the road can be, which results in the need to find aid from the Spirit of Akarat.
You and Eru will travel to a nearby ritual site to commune with the powerful spirit but there are certain dangers you will have to fight past before you can do this.
How To Get Reaching Through The Veil Quest?
Completing, the Unknowing Survivors Quest will start Reaching Through the Veil, which has you and Eru seeking out a powerful spirit to help you with your search for Neyrelle.
Eru has known the spirit for a long time and is hoping that a boon will lead you to the Onucha Ikha Burial to see if the spirit is willing to help.

- Travel to Onucha Ikha Burial
- Kill Dregs at the Ritual Site
- Destroy Poison Cauldrons (2)
- Speak with Eru
Reaching Through The Veil Walkthrough
After exiting the Madman’s Archive, you will be making your way southwest to reach the Onucha Ikha Burial and upon arriving there, Hollows will appear.
You will need to defeat the Dregs who are at the Ritual Site, which includes an elite named Yvarro Festerpool, and destroy the Poison Cauldrons in the area. (There are 2 to destroy)
Speak to Eru afterward and he will attempt to commune with the Spirit of Akarat, who he asks for what he calls a gift to search for Neyrelle.
The Spirit of Akarat does not want to intervene and instead offers you its light to open your way into the darkness of Travincal.
After their conversation, you will need to speak with Eru and this will complete the Reaching Through the Veil Quest.
Reaching Through The Veil Rewards
After you speak with Eru following his conversation with the Spirit of Akarat, the quest will be complete and you will obtain XP and Gold.
With the blessing from the Spirit of Akarat, you and Eru will be able to navigate through Travincal with the next quest that becomes available, A Flickering Light.
Verdict
Eru considers you lucky as not anyone who seeks the boon from the Spirit of Akarat usually has more to prove and it seems as if the spirit knew you.
Now that the two of you have protection thanks to the Spirit of Akarat, you and Eru will have a better chance against the Hollows.
Eru will part ways with you for a short time until you make it to Travincal, where the two of you will continue your search.
