After arriving at the Deathshore where the boatsman who has been traveling with Neyrelle was found, you also discovered some of her notes.
These notes point you to Kurast Docks as it was hinted that this would be the next place that Neyrelle would be heading.
You must now quickly head over to the docks to see if Neyrelle is still around or figure out where she has run off to next.
How To Get Unknowing Survivors Quest?
Unknowing Survivors is the next quest that comes after A Path Laid in Blood, which becomes active after previously investigating the Deathshore.
The Deathshore is where you found and interacted with Neyrelle’s Discarded Satchel, giving you a new trail to follow.
Unknowing Survivors Quest Objectives
- Go to Kurast Docks
- Search Kurast Docks for information about Neyrelle
- Go to the dock house
- Investigate the clues (3)
- Speak with Eru
- Follow Eru
- Investigate the Madman’s Archive
- Defeat the Hollows
- Speak with Eru
Unknowing Survivors Walkthrough
After being instructed by Eru to meet at the docks, you will need to make your way to the marked location and begin asking around about Neyrelle.
This can be done by interacting with people who have chat bubbles above them or you may head to the western part of the docks.
There will be a group of people outside of one of the structures, which you will be able to enter once you arrive.
Inside the small structure will be 3 clues that you will need to interact with one by one before you may proceed with the quest.
By the time you are done investigating the area, Eru will arrive and you will need to speak to him afterward.
It becomes questionable at this point if Neyrelle is causing this intentionally or if it is due to The Soulstone that she carries but it is known that she is also being hunted.
Eru instructs you to follow him and the both of you will now make your way to the Madman’s Archive to find more answers.
While inside the Madman’s Archive, destroy the Hollow Corruption blocking the path to the chamber on the other side.
Investigate the rest of the chamber by interacting with the items found within the marked area and you will be ambushed by Hollows. (Speak to Eru afterward to complete the quest)
Unknowing Survivors Rewards
After defeating the Hollows that attack you in the Madman’s Archives and speaking to Eru, you will be rewarded with XP and Gold.
Eru will want you to help him seek out what he calls a light-bringer’s boon, which begins a quest called Reaching Through the Veil.
Verdict
Neyrelle has been traveling a dangerous path and the Hollows that appear wherever she goes seem to happen more often now.
After investigating the Madman’s Archives, Eru believes he knows a way to get the help needed but this requires you to visit a powerful spirit.
This leads you and Eru on a path to Onucha Ikha Burial where the two of you will find this powerful spirit and attempt to speak with it.
