Diablo 4 Prayers for Salvation Quest Walkthrough

With the help of a man named Iosef, you were able to escape captivity from what turned out to be traitorous villagers in Nevesk.

The two of you managed to fight your way out and had to kill the villagers as they had already lost their minds but the cause was still questionable.

After obtaining a Chapel Key, you and Iosef now plan on heading to the nearby chapel to find out what may have caused them to go mad.

Prayers For Salvation (Prologue: Wandering Act)

How To Get Prayers for Salvation?

Prayers for Salvation is one of the quests in the Prologue: Wandering Act that becomes available once you have finished a quest called A Hero’s Reward.

This happens once you have obtained the chapel key after fighting and killing the villagers in the town after they had captured you.

Prayers for Salvation Quest ObjectivesUnlocking the chapel door by using chapel key

1) Unlock the chapel door

Following the previous quest, you have just obtained the key to the chapel door and will now need to head over to unlock it.

Make your way to the marked area and interact with the door to use the chapel key and you will now be able to enter it.

2) Inspect the blood petals

The chapel will be empty but you will notice that there are Strange Petals on the ground, which you will now need to interact with.

Interacting with the blood petals will begin a cutscene that reveals one of the events that happened in the church.

During the cutscene, you will see how the people who were in the chapel turned on the priest and killed him as they started to follow a demon named Lilith.

It is later revealed that these petals are connected to her and that the people of the village let go of their faith and have begun to follow Lilith, who made them embrace who they are.

After the cutscene has finished, you will be back with Iosef, who has pulled you out of the chapel and set it on fire and he explains what happened, which ends the quest.

Prayers for Salvation Rewards

Once you have regained consciousness and have spoken to Iosef, the quest will be complete and you will receive 430 XP and 200 Gold.

You will also receive a Choker of Penance Amulet that provides you with 4% resistance to all to all elements, which is helpful in the early stages of the game.

Verdict

The chapel had the clues that you and Iosef needed and both of you now know what caused the villagers to go crazy.

It appears that a demon named Lilith has influenced them, which has caused them to turn evil, resulting in you killing them.

While part of the mystery has been discovered, more answers need to be found and Iosef knows where you need to go.
