You and Neyrelle have made your way through the forest and have reached Samuk but the place seems empty and abandoned.
The journey to Samuk proved to be quite difficult due to Mephisto’s corruption that started to take over Neyrelle.
It is only a matter of time before things get worse unless you find the Tomb of Akarat but now that you are in Samuk, you should be able to find it sooner or later.

Perspective Walkthrough
Upon reaching Samuk, you will head further within to look around but will find that the place is empty, which now requires you to speak to Neyrelle.
As you and Neyrelle talk, a woman named Zazil appears and reveals that the others are hiding from you as you carry weapons.
The conversation with Zazil results in her giving you a hint, where she mentions that Akarat has many faces and this means you must find them. (Inspect all 3 of them)
Neyrelle can figure out what the clues from the faces of Akarat mean, which results in the two of you making your way to a nearby cave with a waterfall in front of it.
Once you reach the marked area, you will be able to jump across a gap that leads to the other side of a waterfall and may enter the Stone Door to enter the Hallowed Cavity.
Continue exploring the Hallowed Cavity until you and Neyrelle reach a nearby altar and Neyrelle begins to feel the corruption again.
This requires that you slay the Hollows that appear, which includes an Elite enemy called Ichor of Hatred. (Defeat all enemies that spawn)
Once the Hollows have been defeated, speak with Neyrelle and she will be able to discover a hidden tablet and upon reading it, your next path will be south of the village.
You will then exit the Hallowed Cavity and make your way south of the village, where a marker will be showing you your destination.
Upon reaching the marked location, Neyrelle will attempt to recite the words from the tablet that she found but nothing happens.
Eru suddenly appears as if he has decided to join you once again as he claims that he will walk with Neyrelle. (Speak to him and you will recite certain parts of the words together)
Together, the three of you were able to open up a path after reciting the words from the tablet, revealing a way to Akarat’s Tomb. (Quest ends here)
Faces of Akarat Locations
One of the faces of Akarat may be found by heading west from the stash as well as the local healer around the northwest part of the marked area.
Another face of Akarat may be found to the east part of Samuk near the docks, which you can reach by heading east from the waypoint.
One more face of Akarat may be found near the docks, located to the very south of the marked location in Samuk.
Perspective Rewards
After the three of you have recited the words from the tablet and have opened up a path that cuts through the river, the quest will come to an end.
This rewards you with XP and Gold along with the next quest called In His Footsteps, which will have the three of you venturing forward to find Akarat’s Tomb.
Verdict
Neyrelle’s plan is coming closer to completion and all of your hard efforts have paid off, including searching around Samuk.
Just when things seemed to be going nowhere, Eru has shown up and once again continues to help you and Neyrelle.
The path to the Tomb of Akarat has been opened and the three of you must now face the perils that await as you make your way to it.
