You previously obtained the Flayed Mask to be used in a ritual meant to banish Belial but Sayeena needed time to prepare, which left you fighting off more Apparitions to grow your power.
Sayeena should be ready by now and you will need to meet up with her at her shop to see what else needs to be done.
She already knows how and where to perform the ritual but you can only hope that Belial has not grown stronger while she is getting ready.
How To Get Masked Truths Quest?
Masked Truths will be unlocked once you have reached Tier 5 with your Unveiler’s Oath Reputation, which can be checked at Tarsarak via the board there.
If you have not reached Tier 5, you will need to increase your Unveiler’s Oath Reputation and the Belial’s Apparition Incursion (Repeatable Quest) will be active until this happens.
Masked Truths Walkthrough
After hitting Tier 5 with your Unveiler’s Oath Reputation, the quest will begin and you will need to make your way to Tarsarak to speak with Sayeena in her shop.
She will tell you that she is ready for the ritual but it cannot be done from the shop and instead, the two of you will be doing it at the Temple of Belial.
Make your way to the Scorching Dunes in the Amber Sands (Kehjistan) and follow the quest marker to reach the Temple of Belial.
Once you reach the entrance to the Temple of Belial, speak with Sayeena and afterward, you may enter and will need to search for the Adytum.
Upon reaching the Adytum, you will need to speak to Sayeena and this will cause her to start the ritual, which causes Belial to make an appearance.
Sayeena will attempt to banish Belial and while she is channeling, you will need to defend her from the demons that spawn in the area.
Continue fighting off the rest of the demons until the ritual ends, which is revealed to have been a failure since Belial has gotten stronger.
Belial escapes but something is discovered, Sayeena has somehow sensed fear within Belial and this means there may be a chance to stop him.
Speak with Sayeena and she will tell you to continue with defeating Belial’s demons to grow your power while she comes up with the next steps. (Quest ends after conversation)
Masked Truths Quest Rewards
After the ritual ends and you have spoken to Sayeena, Masked Truths will be complete and you will receive the following rewards:
- XP
- Gold
- Archetype Cache
Verdict
It was believed that an artifact as sacred as the Flayed Mask would be enough to banish Belial with the right ritual performed but things didn’t turn out so well.
Sayeena mentioned that Belial’s roots in Sanctuary have become too strong and more will need to be done to rid Estuar of this powerful demon.
While Sayeena comes up with a new plan, you will need to continue to grow your power by defeating more of Belial’s Apparitions and will later meet up again with her.
