It has been decided that Mephisto’s Soulstone must be taken to the Spirit Realm and brought to Akarat’s final resting place.
Before you can proceed, there is still more to do and you will begin by meeting with the others at the Teganze Plateau.
Maka and the others are currently waiting for you there and once you arrive, you and your allies may continue with the plan at hand.
How To Get Living Memory Quest?
The Living Memory Quest is next after a quest called Reunion, where you meet with The Council and plan out the next steps regarding Mephisto’s Soulstone.
Living Memory Quest Objectives
- Meet your allies in the Teganze Plateau
- Speak with Maka
- Find the first tablet
- Find the second tablet
- Speak with Neyrelle
- Emote “help” on the second tablet
- Kill the Burned Knights
- Survive the attack
- Speak to Neyrelle
- Search Dedicant’s Cache with Neyrelle
- Search for anything related to Akarat’s tomb
- Speak with Nyrelle
- Leave Dedicant’s Cache
Living Memory Quest Walkthrough
Once the quest begins, you will need to head to the marked location on your map and speak to Maka, which reveals Eru won’t be joining you temporarily.
You will need to search for the first tablet in the marked area and will find it easily by heading straight to the east of where you met up with Maka.
There will be a Dirt Pile that you need to interact with, which will reveal the first tablet and afterward, you will need to head to the next marked area.
The first tablet mentions that you must northwest, which also causes a marker to appear on your map that you will now need to go to.
There will be a Dirt Pile near the base of a cliff that you may interact with to reveal a Burial Chamber, which is where the second tablet may be found.
After reaching the tablet, it is revealed that you will need to ask for help, which you can do by using the “Help” emote near the tablet.
Burned Knights will shortly appear after a spirit arrives and you must defeat them but just after you do this, the spirits attempt to kill you as well.
This causes the Eidolon of Jualin, Pilgrim’s Trial to appear and you must defeat this boss before you speak to Neyrelle.
After the encounter, you will need to exit the chamber and make your way to Dedicant’s Cache, which will be marked on your map.
Upon entering Dedicant’s Cache, you will need to explore the cavern with Neyrelle until you reach a section with a door blocking your path.
You will be ambushed in this area and will need to defeat all the enemies before you may open the door leading to the Forgotten Passageway.
At the end of the path, there will be a room full of tablets and you will need to interact with a Scrawled Letter found after going up some nearby steps before speaking to Nyrelle.
After speaking to Nyrelle, a portal will open up and this will allow you to exit and once outside, the quest will be complete.
Living Memory Rewards
Once you have completed Living Memory, you will be rewarded with XP and Gold as well as gain a new quest called Burning Crusade.
Verdict
Searching the Dedicant’s Cache led to Neyrelle figuring out where Akarat’s Tomb is located and now you can continue your journey.
Now that the location of Akarat’s Tomb has been revealed, the group must now find their way there to deliver Mephisto’s Soulstone.
This plan may be the best solution possible but it is unsure if everything will go smoothly as Mephisto is sometimes one step ahead.
