Season of Witchcraft introduced new powers for players to combine to enhance their builds and dominate their enemies.
One of the strongest Witchcraft Powers is a Lost Power known as Piranhado but this is not unlocked like the other spells and requires more effort to get.
With a bit of grinding, you may eventually unlock Piranhado and use it with your builds to destroy groups of enemies in seconds.
What Does Piranhado Do?
Once activated, this Lost Witchcraft Power will summon a Piranhado, which is probably a combined word for Piranha and Tornado.
This will cause a massive amount of damage to be dealt over a certain amount of time while enemies are also pulled in.
Upgrading Piranhado to at least Rank 5 will cause it to seek out enemies, making it easy to clear out groups of monsters.
How To Activate Piranhado?
Piranhado is activated once you have afflicted an enemy with both a Hex and Aura effect, which summons it to start attacking enemies.
This can be done by having at least one Hex Witchcraft Power and one Aura Witchcraft Power equipped, which both need to be activated.
Once at least one enemy is affected by your Hex and Aura, the Piranhado will be summoned and will begin to deal damage and suck enemies toward it.
How To Unlock Piranhado?
Piranhado can be unlocked by searching for Forgotten Altars, which randomly appear in most of the dungeons that you may run.
Each time a Forgotten Altar is discovered, it will unlock a Lost Witchcraft Power, but this does not unlock Piranhado right away.
There are a total of 4 Lost Witchcraft Powers and upon finding at least 4 Forgotten Altars, Piranhado will be the last to be unlocked.
How To Find Forgotten Altars?
Forgotten Altars may be found in pretty much any dungeon that you go into but the chances of finding them are slim since they have a low spawn rate.
Using a Draught of Whispers and playing on higher difficulties will increase the chances of you finding a Forgotten Alter.
Verdict
Piranhado can be a great source of damage and since it can be easily activated, you can expect to deal massive amounts of damage to groups of enemies that you attack.
Make sure that you have at least one Hex and Aura Witchcraft Power equipped or Piranhado will not trigger, and this will just be a waste.
Having multiple Hex and Aura Witchcraft Powers can make it easier to trigger Piranhado but having at least one of each is enough so that you can equip other useful powers.
