Diablo 4 The Hand of Naz (How To Get, Affixes, Effects, Uses & Boss Drops)

Necromancers have been known throughout every Diablo game for their ability to summon the undead to fight by their side.

In Diablo 4, you get different types of summons, but when focusing on Skeletal Mages, a certain item can provide you with a powerful army of them, which is The Hand of Naz.

The Hand of Naz empowers your Skeletal Mages, which can turn into Skeletal Arch-Mages and will even increase the amount you have if you intend on sacrificing your other summons.

The Hand of Naz Affixes

The Hand of Naz provides Necromancers with a boost in Skeletal Mage Damage, Attack Speed, Maximum Life, and additional ranks with Skeletal Mage Mastery.

  • 77.5-100% Skeletal Mage Damage
  • 10.5-15% Attack Speed
  • +424-457 Maximum Life
  • +2-4 Skeletal Mage Mastery

The Hand of Naz Effects

When you have equipped The Hand of Naz, Skeletal Warriors, and Golems, those that are sacrificed will provide you with an additional Skeletal Mage for each one sacrificed.

In addition to this, Skeletal Mages will turn into Skeletal Arch-Mages after they have attacked enemies 25 times without being defeated.

Skeletal Arch-Mages’ attacks will occasionally shatter when hitting an enemy, which deals [50-100]% increased damage and may hit 3 additional targets.

Aside from their attacks being able to shatter, Skeletal Arch-Mages will teleport to safety if they are attacked, allowing them to relocate and avoid getting killed.

The Hand of Naz Uses

The Hand of Naz provides several boosts when it comes to Skeletal Mages, and if you plan on sacrificing your other summons, you can have a lot of them fighting alongside you.

Having The Hand of Naz equipped and an item that has the Aspect of Occult Dominion while your other summons are sacrificed provides you with 12 Skeletal Mages.

This makes your group quite the force to reckon with, especially when you have upgraded your gear and picked out Skills, Passive Skills, and Paragon Skills to boost their damage.

The Hand of Naz provides you with an army of Skeletal Mages that have attacks that can shatter, who also attempt to keep out of harm’s way.

How To Get The Hand of Naz?

There is a chance for any Unique, such as The Hand of Naz, to drop from enemies in higher difficulties, but some bosses are best targeted to open their hoard to get these gloves.

The following are Lair Bosses that are known to drop The Hand of Naz:

Verdict

Skeletal Arch-Mages function the same as Skeletal Mages and will also obtain any effects or abilities that their predecessors have, including the Coldbringer’s Aspect.

With the ability to sacrifice your other minions to gain more Skeletal Mages, these Unique Gloves can provide you with a powerful army that can overwhelm enemies.

The Hand of Naz is affected by other Aspects and Items that would grant you additional Skeletons, and if sacrificed, you get even more Skeletal Mages.
