Diablo 4 Echo of Andariel (Location, Summon, Loot & Defeating)

Andariel is one of the Lesser Evils that was introduced in previous Diablo games and her return in Diablo 4 has given players the chance to fight a version of her never seen before.

While she is encountered in the Main Campaign, fighting Andariel once more can be done by summoning her in the Hanged Man’s Hall to get endgame rewards.

The fight against Andariel will be tough as she may sometimes unleash attacks that can kill you with a single hit but opening her Hoard Chest can provide you with valuable loot.

Andariel Location (Hanged Man’s Hall)

Andariel may be challenged in the Hanged Man’s Hall, which is located within the Scouring Sands in the region Kehjistan.

You can easily reach the Hanged Man’s Hall by traveling to the east from Tarsarak once you have swapped to the Torment I difficulty or higher.

You can fast travel to the Hanged Man’s Hall by selecting it on your map.

Summoning and Defeating Andariel

After entering Hanged Man’s Hall and traveling to The Wounded Court, you may summon Andariel by interacting with the Altar of Anguish.

This will cause Andariel to spawn into the area and she will knock you back before starting to attack you, which involves unleashing a Poison Nova, Lightning projectiles, and melee attacks.

When a portion of Andariel’s health has been reduced, she will disappear and Effigies of Anguish will appear, which need to be destroyed. (You need to stay within their circles)

During this phase, you will need to avoid the wave that she unleashed, which can be done by avoiding the rotating marker that shows where it will hit.

Andariel will appear once again and you will need to reduce her health but this time, the previous attacks and a new one will appear. (Rotating skulls that unleash hellfire)

Avoid the rotating skulls as they can kill you with one hit and continue destroying the effigies until Andariel appears to attack you once more.

All of the previous attacks including the rotating marker and skulls will appear after you reduce her health once more but once the effigies have been dealt with again, she can now be killed.

How To Open Andariel’s Hoard Chest?

After defeating Andariel, she starts to burn up and crumble to the ground, which later causes a chest called Andariel’s Hoard to appear.

Opening Andariel’s Hoard will require that you have at least 3 Pincushioned Dolls, which will allow you to collect several items as rewards.

Make sure you have Pincushioned Dolls with you or else you won’t be able to open Andariel’s Hoard, which is where the real rewards are obtained.

When facing Andariel, keep in mind that she uses several attacks that may have different elements, making it important to boost your resistance against them.
