Orphan Maker is a Unique Crossbow that was added to Diablo 4 with the release of Season 10: Season of Infernal Chaos.
Along with this bow was a new Affix as well, simply called “Reload,” which caused a delay when it came to using certain skills but provided more damage.

Basic and Core skills that use this weapon now Reload. Reload Skills gain 250-300% increased damage, and every 2nd Reload Skill gains twice this bonus.
Reload Keyword: Skills with Reload have a slight delay, during which they cannot Cast again. Their damage and Reload speed benefit from 50% of your Attack Speed Bonus.

The Orphan Maker appears to focus a lot on Vulnerable Damage, and it punishes enemies who are affected by Vulnerable thanks to its affixes.
Marksman Skills get a huge boost as well, especially if you roll a +5 or +6 to Marksman Skills, providing you with a lot of damage when you use them.

- Urivar (Fields of Judgement)

The “Reload” keyword may seem to be a pain at times, but this can be dealt with by increasing your attack speed, as it provides both damage and reload speed benefits.
