Diablo 4: Fresh Meat (How To Get & Uses) (Boss Trophy)

The Butcher has long been one of Diablo 4’s most recognizable enemies, and players who challenge him as a Lair Boss now have a chance to obtain Fresh Meat.

This Boss Trophy is tied to The Butcher’s Hoard and can be acquired while farming the encounter for rewards in Torment difficulties.

Beyond dropping from the boss itself, Fresh Meat may also be obtained from several other endgame activities throughout Sanctuary.

How To Farm Fresh Meat?

Fresh Meat is commonly obtained from The Butcher after defeating him and opening his Hoard, which requires a Greater Lair Key to access.

Additional sources include World Boss events and Legion Events, both of which have a chance to reward players with this Boss Trophy.

Fresh Meat may also occasionally be obtained from Tree of Whispers caches and Mercenary Bartering, but it is only available in Torment difficulties.

Fresh Meat Uses

Fresh Meat can be taken to the Horadric Cube and used through Amalgamation, allowing five copies to be exchanged for a random item from The Butcher’s Hoard.

This provides an alternative way to obtain rewards associated with The Butcher without relying entirely on direct drops from his Hoard.

Saving multiple Fresh Meat trophies can be worthwhile since each Amalgamation grants another opportunity to receive an item from his unique loot table.

Those looking for items from The Butcher’s Hoard can save their Fresh Meat and use it through Amalgamation for additional chances at obtaining rewards from his loot table.
