Angelbreath is a Rare Crafting Material and type of Herb that is rarer than the common Bundled Herbs that you can often find in any region.
What makes this material so special is that it is needed for various recipes and after a previous update, it stands alone as a Rare Material while the other herbs were combined into Bundled Herbs.
Obtaining Angelbreath may seem to be a bit difficult at first but later on, you will find that farming Angelbreath can be done easily if you know where to look.

How To Get Angelbreath?
1) Helltide Activities
The Helltide Event is one of the best ways to get Angelbreath as almost everything that you do has a chance to give you a good amount.
Angelbreath can drop during the Helltide Event when you open Tortured Gifts Chests, complete events, kill powerful enemies, and more.
2) Opening Reward Caches from Tree of Whispers
Another way to get a large amount of Angelbreath would be to open a reward cache that you get from the Tree of Whispers.
This may take some time to complete but you can always silence Whispers while farming Angelbreath in the Helltide to hit two birds with one stone.
3) Collect From Angelbreath Plant
Collecting from this plant will provide you with Angelbreath but these are rare to find and will require you to look carefully when you are exploring.
A good way to keep an eye out for these is to have Subo as your Mercenary as he can mark plants on your map along with other things as well. (Enemies and Ore Veins)
4) Completing Cellars
Cellars are mentioned to be one of the ways for you to get your hands on Angelbreath but this is not considered the best method since you need to find them first.
Another thing to consider is that not every Cellar will provide you with Angelbreath once you open the chest inside since there is only a rare chance of it dropping.
Angelbreath Uses
Angelbreath is a requirement for upgrading your Healing Potions as well as crafting consumables such as elixirs and incense.
You can upgrade to a Greater Healing Potion at level 70, Major Healing Potion at level 80 and Superior Healing Potion once you hit level with Angelbreath and other materials.
You will also need this if you want to craft the Elixir of the Elusive, which is an elixir that is available in hardcore mode that saves you from dying.
You can use Angelbreath to craft the following elixirs and incense:
Elixirs
- Elixir of Advantage
- Elixir of Cold Resistance
- Elixir of Destruction
- Elixir of Fire Resistance
- Elixir of Fortitude
- Elixir of Iron Barbs

Verdict
Angelbreath may not appear as often as other resources, but this does not mean you cannot find it out in the wild when you are exploring.
Better ways to get Angelbreath are to participate in events and clear dungeons as it can drop often when you complete such tasks.
The majority of the better elixirs and incense require that you have Angelbreath to create them, which makes it important to save up.
