Several Necromancer Blood Builds utilize Blood Surge to deal damage to multiple enemies in an area but with a certain aspect, this skill can be enhanced.
Blood Surge can have an additional nova after its initial one when you have the Blood-bathed Aspect, allowing you to deal more damage and trigger certain effects.
While the damage of the nova may be reduced, it is still effective against a group of enemies and a good addition to the skill.
Blood-bathed Aspect Effects (Blood Surge Aspect)
Blood-bathed Aspect causes your Blood Surge Skill to have an additional nova that deals a smaller amount of damage.
This is considered another source of damage and will have the same range as the initial nova with less damage being dealt.
This is a good way to deal more damage as well as trigger effects from your passive skills such as Drain Vitality and Supernatural Blood Surge.

How To Get Blood-bathed Aspect? (Hoarfrost Demise Walkthrough)
1) Destroy Skeletal Construct
Once you enter Hoarfrost Demise, you will be in the Frigid Haem and will need to locate 3 Skeletal Constructs and destroy them.
The Skeletal Constructs will be scattered around the map, and you will be able to tell when they are nearby checking your map.
2) Travel to the Flesh Cavern
After destroying the 3 Skeletal Constructs, you will need to go to the next area, which is where a Khazra Abomination will be waiting.
3) Defeat the Khazra Abomination
Upon entering the Flesh Cavern, you will be attacked by the Khazra Abomination and will need to kill it to get rewards from it as well as for completing the dungeon.

Blood-bathed Aspect is great for any Necromancer Blood Build as it can be used to trigger different effects that can benefit your builds.
While its secondary nova does not deal as much damage, it is a good way to target multiple enemies and bolster yourself with the Drain Vitality passive skill.
