When fighting enemies, sometimes the fact that you will take damage can hinder you as you don’t want to end up getting killed.
With the Aspect of Might though, you can confidently go into battle knowing that you will be taking less damage from enemies.
The Aspect of Might allows you to reduce the amount of damage you receive for a short duration when you use a Basic Skill.
Aspect of Might Effects (Damage Reduction Aspect)
When one of your items has Aspect of Might imprinted on it, your Basic Skill will grant you a percentage of damage reduction for a short period.
This will prevent incoming damage that is dealt to you by your enemies, allowing you to survive attacks as well as skills that enemies use upon first attacking you.
With this Aspect in use, your chances of dying will be lessened and this works well when you are facing tougher enemies.
Aspect of Might Location
You can unlock the Aspect of Might by completing the Dark Ravine Dungeon, which can be found east of Ked Bardu. (Dry Steppes)
How To Get Aspect of Might? (Dark Ravine Walkthrough)
1) Collect Animus from Animus Carriers
As you enter the Dark Ravine, you will be exploring the Path of the Devoted where there will be Animus Carriers lurking about.
You will need to kill the Animus Carriers to obtain Animus, which is needed later to be deposited into an Animus Urn.
2) Deposit Animus into the Animus Urn
Once all of the Animus Couriers have been slain and you have collected their Animus, you will need to deposit it into the Animus Urn at the end of the path.
3) Travel to the Ancient Cavern
After depositing the Animus into the Animus Urn, a barrier will be dispelled and you can continue making your way to the Ancient Cavern.
4) Slay the Favored
The Ancient Cavern will be filled with enemies and you will need to search for the Favored elite enemies and slay all 3 of them.
Once you are near a Favored elite enemy, they will be marked on your map with an elite icon for you to easily track.
5) Travel to the Ritual Chamber
After you have slain all 3 of the Favored enemies, you will need to continue by making your way to the Ancient Cavern where the boss awaits you.
6) Defeat Mother’s Judgement
Mother’s Judgement will be in the Ritual Chamber and you will need to defeat this boss to unlock the Aspect of Might as well as obtain other loot.
Verdict
Damage Reduction plays a big role when it comes to surviving encounters with enemies, especially when you are going against bosses.
While upgraded armor and other passives may help you win a fight, the ability to survive an attack with enemies head-on is important.
Aspect of Might is perfect for getting in your enemy’s face, allowing you to throw all your attacks without taking 100% of the damage they deal.
