While making your way around The Den, you notice the Archive of Kuo Chosah and find something strange in the final entry.
The entry speaks of a cursed child who seeks to find the Dark Citadel and this sounds like something that you should intervene with.
This quest will take you on a path to find Aldkin and even though he is young, this cursed child is a force to be reckoned with.
How To Get A Nameless Mystery Quest?
You can start A Nameless Mystery by interacting with the Archive of Kuo Chosah, which can be found around the western part of The Den.

A Nameless Mystery Quest Walkthrough
Once the quest has started, make your way to the Kurast Bazaar by fast traveling and continue by heading west until you reach the Path of Reckoning.
It is here that you will find the Covert Passage that was mentioned in the entry you found, which you will now need to enter.
Continue making your way to the end of the Covert Passage and you will spot a demon that tells you to stay back and this causes demons to appear.
You will need to survive the ambush by slaying all the demons in the Covert Passage and picking up the Ragged Toy on the ground nearby.
Continue by exiting the Cover Passage and make your way to the marked location, which is where the Mysterious Demon has run off.
You will arrive at the Diregloom Jungle and will need to interact with the body of a Slain Demon before continuing your search.
You will encounter the Mysterious Demon once again but more demons will appear and attack you, which leaves you to fight them off.
Continue making your way northwest towards the marked location and you will find the Chosah Manor and just northeast of a child’s drawing, you will find an entrance.
Make your way into the Abandoned Ruin and cut your way through the vines so that you can interact with the items in the room.
This will cause a demon named Vilnius, The Hunter to appear and you will need to slay it along with the other demons.
Interact with the Partially Burned Letter to continue, which starts a scene where you get to read it, giving a hint about who the Mysterious Demon is.
The cursed child will appear and notice you have his doll, which your character gives to him during the scene and this calms their temper.
During the cutscene, you can’t bear to leave the child on their own even if they appear to be cursed and have the appearance of a demon.
You invite the cursed child to The Den, which ends the scene and will result in you going back to meet the mysterious child there.
Speak with Raheir and he will agree to let the child, who is now known as Aldkin stay and this now makes him a member of The Pale Hand. (Quest ends here)
A Nameless Mystery Rewards
Upon completion of A Nameless Mystery, you will be rewarded with XP and Gold based on your character’s level.
This also unlocks Aldkin as a mercenary that you may now hire and grants you access to the Cursed Toy Box, which serves as an Occultist in The Den.
Verdict
Aldkin may have seemed to have been a threat in the beginning but it turns out he was just trying to protect himself.
It looks like the cursed child had gone through a lot and his father didn’t have much to leave behind and thanks to the doll you found, you were able to convince him to join you.
Aldkin may just be a young one but the power that he shows is impressive, which makes him an ally that may be of great use to you.
