What Are Syndicates?
Syndicates are factions in Destiny 2 that operate in the Lawless Frontier, offering contracts, gear, and Renegade Abilities while providing structured ways to progress your Guardian Rank.
Each faction has unique rewards and playstyles, from the chaotic Pikers to the militarized Totality Division or technologically advanced Tharsis Reformation, giving players different combat advantages.
By completing objectives, depositing Dark Matter Ingots, and using faction-specific gear, Guardians can rank up with a syndicate to unlock upgrades, exclusive items, and cosmetic rewards.
How To Choose A Syndicate?
To choose a syndicate, visit its banner in the Tharsis Outpost and interact with it to pledge your allegiance and activate the faction.
Once activated, your selected syndicate determines which Priority Contracts you receive, influences contract quality, and boosts reputation gains for completed objectives in the Lawless Frontier.
After selecting a faction, focus on completing its contracts and depositing Dark Matter Ingots to steadily increase rank and unlock gear, Renegade Abilities, and cosmetic rewards.
