Destiny 2: Priority Contract (How to Get & Rewards)

With Destiny 2: Renegades unleashing the Lawless Frontier, many players have found themselves confused about how Syndicates, Jobs, Contracts, and other new systems work.

Once you choose a Syndicate and learn how to complete jobs, which in turn allow you to finish Contracts, you may eventually start wondering about Priority Contracts.

These are special Contracts tied directly to the Syndicate you’ve aligned with, offering greater rewards and better progression compared to the standard Contracts you pick up during regular play.

What Are Priority Contracts?

Priority Contracts are special missions tied directly to the Syndicate you have pledged to, giving you a unique task that stands above regular Contracts.

These missions are designed to reflect your Syndicate’s goals and playstyle, offering focused objectives that feel more meaningful than standard daily assignments.

Because they award higher reputation and better materials, Priority Contracts act as a core progression tool for leveling your Syndicate and unlocking its exclusive rewards.

How To Get Priority Contracts?

You will start receiving Priority Contracts after choosing a Syndicate, which allows these special daily objectives to appear in your Contract list and reset every day.

Each Priority Contract has certain requirements, usually asking you to complete Jobs in a specific region that is more dangerous or heavily contested.

You can only finish one Priority Contract per day, and a new one becomes available automatically when the next daily reset occurs.

Your active Priority Contract can be viewed by opening the Lawless Frontier destination and checking your full list of Contracts.

Priority Contract Rewards

It is always best to complete Priority Contracts whenever they are available, since they provide stronger rewards and faster Syndicate progression

These often include rewards such as the following:

Syndicate Weekly Shipments

Weekly Shipments are available as a reward from your Syndicate’s Vendor, which can be claimed weekly after a certain number of days.

To claim these, you will first need to have completed a certain number of Priority Contracts, which will allow you to collect them when they arrive.

Verdict

Priority Contracts are an important part of the Renegades season, as they let you quickly boost your reputation with Syndicates and earn better rewards.

The objectives for Priority Contracts are often similar, meaning you can complete them as a quick daily task, mainly by finishing certain Jobs.

Consistently completing Priority Contracts whenever they are available, along with other Contracts and Jobs, is one of the best ways to progress with Syndicates throughout the season.
