While exploring around the Outer Wastes (Outer Steppes), you find a body that bears a resemblance to Orin, and she contacts you immediately after you find it.
Orin mentions that she felt that you found a piece of her, which she claims that she had shed and is a layer of a past choice that was molted.
After Ghost asks Orin about finding more of these molts, Orin claims that she believes this may help bring back some of her memories, which results in you searching for more.
How To Get Sacred Emergence Quest?
Sacred Emergence becomes available upon the completion of The Gorge Strangelet quest, which is a part of The Edge of Fate campaign.
This quest becomes available specifically after you have completed the “Quarantine” mission that becomes available during The Gorge Strangelet.
Sacred Emergence Quest Steps (Objectives)
Step 1: Continue helping Orin recover fragments of herself across Kepler
Once you find and interact with the molt to start the quest, you will need to search for 3 more of them, which can be found in the locations listed below.
- Central Academy
- Exile’s Accord
- Outer Wastes
Step 2: There is more of Orin’s past to uncover, deeper within Kepler
While this doesn’t have you searching for other molts, you will need to make your way to Orin and speak with her at the Assimilated Easement.
Speak with Orin to progress to the next quest step.
Step 3: Track down the remnants of Orin’s Ghost, Gol
Orin has asked you to search for traces of her departed Ghost, which goes by the name Gol, and you will need to search a nearby area for it.
Her Ghost can be a bit tricky to spot as the marker doesn’t show the exact location, and instead, head in the opposite direction of the portal train, and you will find it at the end.
Interacting with the Ghost will result in the quest being completed.
Sacred Emergence Quest Rewards
Once you find and interact with Orin’s Ghost, the quest will be complete, and similar to the rewards from the other quests, you will receive the following:
- Legendary Gear
- Fated Cipher
Verdict
Orin had gone through a lot during her time serving as an emissary for The Nine, and many sacrifices had to be made, but eventually, she wanted out.
She left behind different discarded versions of herself until she finally got free, and even one was created for her Ghost, Gol.
While her memories are still shattered and everything is a mess, your efforts have still proved to be of some use, and hopefully, she may recall everything someday.
