One of the short quests that you are required to complete before proceeding in the third week of Episode: Heresy involves obtaining the Hand of lyx ur-Anukru.
This is done in the Mission Dossier: Hive Hacking, Cultist’s Limb quest, which is one of three quests that are mostly similar when it comes to their objectives.
Hive Hacking, Cultist’s Lamb will have you chasing after a Hive Wizard in the Catacombs on Moon to obtain her bio-coded hand.
How To Get Hive Hacking Cultist’s Limb Quest?
The Hive Hacking, Cultist’s Limb Quest is obtainable after you have reached Quest Step 16 in the Act I: Echoed Warnings Quest.
Much like the other two Hive Hacking Quests, which are Lightsinger’s Limb and Blade Navigator’s Head, you will need to track down the target and defeat it.
Mission Dossier: Hive Hacking, Culist’s Limb Quest Steps
Step 1: Travel to the Catacombs on the Moon and hunt the Hive Wizard, lyx ur-Anukru, Darsinger, to claim her hand containing the Dreadnaught bio-codes
After you have started the quest, make sure you track it to quickly be able to reach it by following the waypoint provided.
It would be best to start in Sorrow’s Harbor and following the waypoint will take you to The Gatehouse, which later leads to the Circle of Bones.
Follow the waypoint and you will eventually reach the Catacombs, where you will need to fight your way past enemies and follow Ilyx, Celebrant of Oryx. (Ilyx will be immune to damage)
The target you were supposed to search for is “lyx ur-Aukru” but it seems that defeating Ilyx, Celebrant of Oryx will allow you to progress.
Chase down Ilyx, Celebrant of Oryx until you reach the end where a gate is found as this will be near a glyph that needs to be shot to make her vulnerable.
Once the glyph is destroyed, Ilyx’s shield will be brought down and you may begin attacking her until she is defeated. (This will provide you with the Hand of lyx ur-Anukru)
Step 2: Return to shaping Slab in Eris’s quarters at Last City
After defeating Ilyx, Celebrant of Oryx, head back to Eris Morn’s Apartment and you will be able to complete the quest by interacting with the Shaping Slab.
Mission Dossier: Cultist’s Limb Quest Rewards
Bringing back the Hand of lyx ur-Anukru (Ilyx, Celebrant of Oryx) and completing the quest at the Shaping Slab will reward you with the following.
- Seasonal Gear (Common)
- Sigil Shards
- Essence of Desire
Verdict
It seems that lyx ur-Anukru and Ilyx, Celebrant of Oryx are the same target and this may either be something to do with name shortcuts or a typographical error.
Traveling through the Catacombs can be a bit dangerous due to it being very dark, so watch out where you jump and make sure to take cover when Ilyx attacks you.
Once you have attacked the glyph near the gate that Ilyx leads you to, you will be able to continuously damage her without any other interruptions.
