How to Get The Queenbreaker in Destiny 2

The Queenbreaker is a deadly Exotic Linear Fusion Rifle that provides the ability to deal a ton of damage from a distance and works well against combatants, bosses, and Guardians.

This weapon features two firing modes that allow you to switch between single shots and bursts of damage that both up to the same amount of total damage.

Whether you are fighting enemies from afar or at a distance, you are guaranteed to deal fatal hits to targets who are unlucky enough to be caught in your crosshairs.

“Despite the Breakers’ treachery, Her Majesty still stands.”

How To Get The Queenbreaker?

The Queenbreaker drops similarly to most Exotic Weapons, which would be by picking up Exotic Engrams in activities, opening ones from NPCs, or decrypting them.

Additionally, if you previously had The Queenbreaker and happened to have gotten rid of it, you may reacquire it from the Collections Menu. (Under Exotics – Power Weapons)

Reacquiring The Queenbreaker will cost you 3,000 Glimmer and 2 Enhancement Cores.

The Queenbreaker Weapon Perks

1) Marksman Sights (Scope)

  • Long-range sights with slower charge time and greater damage
  • Fires a single bolt that chains to nearby targets and blinds them on hit
  • Displays ammo and charge levels

Can be switched to Combat Sights, which has the following features:

  • Low-zoom sights with faster charge time and handling
  • Fires a three-round burst that reduces charge time even further on sustained hits
  • Displays ability energy

Holding the “Reload Key/Button” will allow you to switch between these two scopes.

2) Enhanced Battery (Battery)

The Queenbreaker has a stronger battery life.

  • Increases magazine size

3) Hip-Fire Grip (Trait)

Increases accuracy, stability, and precision hit targeting when firing from the hip. Can be switched to Quickdraw, which allows The Queenbreaker to be drawn quickly.

4) Fitted Stock (Stock)

This stock makes The Queenbreaker stable but heavy.

  • Increases stability
  • Moderately controls recoil
  • Slightly decreases handling speed

The Queenbreaker Intrinsic Traits

Wire Rifle

Holding the “Reload Key/Button” allows you to swap between Marksman Sights and Combat Sights (Scopes) to alter the zoom and firing mode of The Queenbreaker.

Marksman Sights allow The Queenbreaker to fire single bolts that are effective at long-range (and closer ranges) that deal a high amount of damage and chains to nearby enemies.

Combat Sights reduce the zoom of The Queenbreaker and cause its firing mode to be switched to burst shots that are effective and close to medium range.

How to Get The Queenbreaker Catalyst?

When The Queenbreaker’s magazine has been emptied, it will be refilled from resources based on the number of hits from its previous magazine.

This allows you to continuously fire with The Queenbreaker, making it more rewarding depending on how many targets you have hit.

The Queenbreaker Catalyst can be obtained as a drop from completing activities such as Vanguard Strikes, Gambit and Crucible Matches. (Crucible Matches have a good chance to drop it)

Verdict

The Queenbreaker’s ability to change firing modes makes it a versatile weapon to have in a fight and since both firing modes can reach the same amount of damage, either way works.

Using Marksman Sights is perfect for when you want to keep your distance from enemies while Combat Sights can be helpful when you are jumping into a fight and firing from the hip.

Overall, thanks to its Catalyst, The Queenbreaker can be fired several times before having to reload and this can help when it comes to sustained damage.
