Destiny 2 Fallow Mission Walkthrough (The Edge of Fate)

After speaking with The Emeritus and barely understanding his language, you realize he is talking about an Agricultural Center.

It looks like the Vex are going after their supplies, which will leave the Aionians in famine, and this needs to be dealt with.

You will be heading to the Agricultural Center to push back the attack and secure what stocks remain before nothing is left.

How To Get Fallow Mission?

The “Fallow” mission becomes available once you have reached Quest Step 4 with “The Central Academy Strangelet” Quest.

The Central Academy Strangelet is a quest that becomes available alongside The Exile’s Accord Strangelet quest, which also involves obtaining a Strangelet Capsule.

Fallow Mission Walkthrough

Once the mission begins, you will be in the Aionian Campus and will need to take the portal in front of you, which will get you started on the path to the Agricultural Center.

There will be a Matterspark device nearby, and you will need to use this to enter the vent located in the first room you arrive in after exiting the portal.

This will bring you to the other side of the barrier in one of the rooms, and you will be able to continue making your way to the waypoint from here.

In the next area, there will be a Vex Cube that needs to be destroyed, but it will be protected until you defeat the Uplifted Choral Minotaur.

After destroying the Vex Cube, a small entrance that it was blocking can now be accessed once you activate Matterspark, which will bring you behind a barrier.

Destroy the device behind the barrier to disperse it, and afterward, you may access the Aionian Terminal to open the door next to it.

Continue the path that leads to the Agricultural Center, and you will find several Vex Combatants in the area and Vex Cubes that are blocking the Aionian Food Supplies.

Defeat the Uplifted Choral Minotaurs to make the Vex Cubes vulnerable so that they may be destroyed, which will remove the barriers blocking the supplies.

Once the food supplies are no longer blocked, interacting with them will allow you to transmit them, and this needs to be done for all 3 food caches.

The final food cache will be behind a large barrier, and as you approach this area, you may place a Rally Banner, and this will cause the Devastator Mind to appear.

You will need to fight the Devastator Mind and the other combatants, but once a third portion of its health has been reduced, it will become immune to damage.

To make the Devastator Mind vulnerable again, you will need to head to the side where a Vex Cube spawns and defeat the minotaur guarding it.

Use Matterspark to enter the small openings whenever you have destroyed a Vex Cube (this needs to be done twice) to make the Devastator Mind vulnerable.

Doing this will allow you to defeat the Devastator Mind and will allow you to interact with a nearby terminal that will unlock the Rosetta II ability.

Use this to interact with the terminal near the barrier that is blocking the final cache, and the mission will end once it has gone down.

Fallow Mission Rewards

After you have disabled the barrier, the mission will be complete, and you will be able to collect rewards from a nearby chest that appears.

Rewards from the chest include Timelost Spirit Bloom, Enhancement Cores, Glimmer, equipment, and more.

You obtain the Rosetta II upgrade during this mission, which will now allow you to understand the Aionian language and interact with more of the Aionian devices and ciphers.

Verdict

The Vex certainly were doing no good, and lucky for the Aionians, you were able to stop them just in time before all of their supplies were lost.

It appears that a lot of trouble is being caused for the Aionians, and this may just be a start, which may reveal further issues later.

Thanks to the Rosetta II upgrade that you have acquired, you may now gain more access and understanding of Kepler.
