Destiny 2 Gouge Mission Walkthrough (The Edge of Fate)

The pursuit continues, and you are now very close to finding the Strangelet Capsule, which should be in the grasp of the House of Exile’s Prime Servitor.

You will need to make your way through the Curtilage Divide and hunt down the Prime Servitor, while fighting past any House of Exile that comes in your way.

Only by taking out the Prime Servitor will you be able to get your hands on the Strangelet Capsule and finally bring it back where it belongs.

How To Get the Gouge Mission?

The “Gouge” mission is part of the last quest step required to complete the Exile’s Accord Strangelet quest.

As part of Quest Step 7, you will need to head to the location where this mission is marked and begin your hunt for the Prime Servitor.

Gouge Mission Walkthrough

Starting in the Curtilage Divide, you will need to follow the waypoint until you reach a large room full of House of Exile combatants.

Fight your way through them as you continue to proceed to the waypoint, and this will end once you reach a barrier.

After dealing with the enemies in the area, you can find a battery above you to the left while you are facing the barrier. (Jump up and destroy it to proceed)

Continue making your way to the next waypoint by crossing the gaps and fighting your way past any other combatants that you encounter.

This will eventually bring you to another doorway with a barrier, but once you defeat an enemy called Distribution Servitor, Holy Vessel, another battery will be vulnerable.

Destroy the battery, and the barrier will be taken down, allowing you to proceed to the next area where the same steps must be repeated. (Destroy Distribution Servitor and destroy battery)

Continue following the waypoint, and you will eventually reach a path blocked by lasers, and at the end of the makeshift bridge is a Relocator you can use to get through.

The next area requires you to use another Relocator to get through more large pipes, and this will lead you to an Antimatter Device. (Use it to get through pipes above you)

This will bring you to an area that you are familiar with, and from here, you can continue making your way towards the waypoint until you reach a room with a Superior Overseer Servitor.

Head to the rooms in the area and search for the nearby battery that is marked with a waypoint to destroy it, which will make the Supreme Overseer Servitor vulnerable.

After destroying the Supreme Overseer Servitor, continue by following the waypoint once more, and this will bring you to a large tunnel going down that is full of lasers.

Use the Relocator found in a tunnel above where the pit is located to activate the exit pad, but don’t forget to realign the Fallen relays to make sure you hit the exit pad.

You will drop into a room where there is a shield general, but it will be protected by a barrier, and this requires you to interact with a nearby console.

This will disable a barrier and allow you to proceed, and once you head out of the room, a servitor will block where you just came from, but make the shield generator vulnerable.

Destroy the shield generator and take out the Distribution Servitor before proceeding to fight the boss called Giver’s Bounty, Exile Prime Servitor.

You can begin attacking the Exile Prime Servitor at this point, but upon taking out a third of its health, it becomes invulnerable.

Use the nearby Relocator to reach the next area by firing at an exit pad, and you will need to repeat the process of destroying a shield battery before you can attack it.

This involves luring another Holy Servitor to the nearby doorway and heading back through another entrance to destroy the battery as well as the Servitor.

Fight the Exile Prime Servitor once more to drain its health again, and for the last time, you must repeat the steps required to destroy yet another shield battery.

After the last shield battery is destroyed, you will be able to finish off the Exile Prime Servitor, and this will result in a chest appearing.

Above the chest will be the Strangelet Capsule, which you may interact with to take, and this will complete the mission.

Gouge Mission Rewards

After you have taken the Exile’s Accord Strangelet Capsule, the quest will come to an end, and you will receive certain rewards.

This includes the Strangelet Capsule, a Landing Zone Unlock, and other common rewards such as equipment and materials.

Verdict

Finally, after a lot of searching, you have gotten your hands on the Exile’s Accord Strangelet Capsule and may now bring it back later.

The Archon’s Prime Servitor has been destroyed, and this has had an impact on his plans, which should allow you to focus on other things.

This, however, may not be the last time you see Levazsk as this foe has plans to redeem himself and push through with his plans one way or another.
