Destiny 2 Chaotic Munitions Quest Walkthrough (Arms Week Event)

Ada-1 has once again begun the development of a new Volatile Weapon Mod, and she needs your help in testing it out once it has been completed.

The weapon mod that she is developing tends to cause final blows to create random effects, which can be quite a surprise and a useful feature.

To assist Ada-1, you will need to defeat several enemies and return to her afterward to get the Volatile Weapon Mod she has made.

How To Get Chaotic Munitions Quest?

The “Chaotic Munitions” quest becomes available after you have completed the “Initial Calibration” quest, which is obtained from Ada-1 during the Arms Week event.

Once you have completed “Initial Calibration,” this quest will become available when you speak to Ada-1 again at the Shooting Range.

Chaotic Munitions Quest Steps (Objectives)

Step 1: Talk to Ada in the Shooting Range

After obtaining the quest, you will need to speak with Ada-1 in the Shooting Range, and she will give you instructions on what to do next.

Step 2: Earn points by defeating combatants in Portal activities

Ada-1 requires that you head out and defeat combatants in Portal Activities, which you may select from the Portal menu.

You will need to defeat a total of 200 combatants in any of the Portal activities, and we suggest doing Solo Ops so you can take out all the combatants on your own.

Step 3: Report to Ada

After you have defeated 200 combatants, make your way back to the Shooting Gallery and speak to Ada-1 to complete the quest.

Chaotic Munitions Quest Rewards

Once you have returned to Ada-1 and have spoken to her to complete the quest, you will be rewarded with a new Exotic Weapons Mod called Chaotic Munitions.

A weapon gained using Combat Telemetry can equip this Exotic Weapon Mod, which causes Precision Final Blows to create random effects.

These effects may cause Ignitions, Stasis Crystals, Exploding Engram, and even the Lorentz Driver Explosion, along with several other effects.

Verdict

While defeating 200 combatants to complete this quest may seem a bit tedious due to the number of targets you will need to take down, it is a lot easier than it sounds.

We were able to complete the 200 quota by doing 2 Solo Ops from the Portal Activities, where the objective was completed around the time when we were fighting the boss.

Chaotic Munitions can be a fun Weapon Mod to play around with, and you will be surprised at the fun effects that are triggered with your Precision Final Blows.
