When it comes to precision, those who often use a Hand Cannon when gunning down their enemies tend to aim for the weak spots of their targets.
Ada-1 is working on a new Volatile Weapon Mod that makes it easier to gun down your targets with less of a need to aim down the sights.
To get this new weapon mod from her, you will need to help her out with developing it, which, of course, involves defeating tons of combatants.
How To Get Cowboy Grip Quest?
You may accept the “Cowboy Grip” quest from Ada-1 once you have completed the Chaotic Munitions, a quest that is available during the Arms Week event.
After the completion of Chaotic Munitions, you will be able to accept this quest from Ada-1, who can be found in the Shooting Range.
Cowboy Grip Quest Steps (Objectives)
Step 1: Talk to Ada in the Shooting Range
The quest starts with you having to speak with Ada-1 in the Shooting Range, which you will need to do after initially starting it.
Step 2: Earn points by defeating combatants in Portal activities
Similar to the Chaotic Munitions quest, you will need to defeat combatants in Portal activities, but you can speed up your progress with Precision Final Blows dealt with Hand Cannons.
We recommend doing Solo Ops from the Portal activities so that you don’t have any competition when it comes to getting Final Blows or having to rush with your aiming.
Step 3: Report to Ada at the Shooting Range
After you have gained 200 points by defeating combatants, head back to the Shooting Range to speak with Ada-1, which will complete the quest.
Cowboy Grip Quest Rewards
Upon returning to Ada-1 to speak with her, the quest will be completed, and you will receive the Cowboy Grip Exotic Weapon Mod.. (Volatile Weapon Mod)
This Weapon Mod supremely increases your hip fire weapon performance, allowing you to easily take down targets even when you are not aiming down the sights of your weapon.
Verdict
Completing this quest can easily be done if you go into a Solo Ops activity and use a Hand Cannon, since this allows you to score more points. (Make sure to get Precision Final Blows)
Thanks to the bonus points from the Hand Cannon Precision Final Blows, we were able to complete the 200-point objective within a single activity, which saved us a lot of time.
Cowboy Grip is perfect for those who love to run and gun, or can be a good way to easily see your radar while fighting combatants or Guardians, since you won’t need to aim down the sights often.
