After previously disrupting Savathun’s ritual, her plans on attacking the Throne World have been delayed and now you can focus on more pressing matters.
Deputy Commander Sloane needs your assistance as the Willbreaker needs to be reforged onboard the Dreadnaught.
You will need to make your way to The Founts aboard the Dreadnaught and assist Sloane as she uses her Taken powers to reforge the relic sword.
How To Get Appellation Mission?
The Appellation Mission becomes available once you have reached Quest Step 9 of the Act III: Crossed Blades quest.
Once you are on Quest Step 9, you will be able to launch this mission from the quest or The Last City.
Quest Step 9 requires that the Appellation Mission is completed before you can proceed with the Act III: Crossed Blades quest.
Appellation Mission Walkthrough
Once the mission begins, make your way towards the Ritual Site where Deputy Commander Sloane will be waiting for you.
You will encounter some Taken combatants along the way and will have to fight past them until you reach Sloane.
After reaching Sloane, there will be a quick dialogue between the two of you before she kneels and begins to channel her Taken power.
While Sloane is preoccupied, you will need to fight the Taken combatants that begin to spawn and attack you.
Once enough enemies have been defeated, you will be brought into the Ascendant Realm and will need to continue fighting there.
Wipe out all of the enemies that attack and you will eventually be Torn Between Dimensions, where the onslaught continues.
After defeating the attackers, you will be brought back to The Founts and Sloane will leave shortly after Willbreaker has been reforged. (The mission ends afterward)
Appellation Mission Rewards
After Willbreaker is reforged and Sloane leaves, the mission comes to an end and you will be rewarded with the following:
- 100 Taken Mastery
- Glimmer
- Seasonal Currency
- Legendary Equipment
Verdict
Thanks to your efforts, Sloane was able to successfully reforge Willbreaker and this was also made possible after you thwarted Savathun’s ritual.
Now that the Willbreaker has been reforged, facing the threats that lie ahead of you now seem to have a better chance of success.
