With the Solstice Event 2025 now active, Guardians can get their hands on different kinds of rewards, which include the Lustrous Armor Set.
Things don’t just stop there; you can enhance the set further visually by completing the steps in “A Glowing Solstice,” which has you grinding for Solstice Alloys to get Incandescent Ingots.
To sum things up, this quest allows you to further improve how your Lustrous armor looks by adding a radiant aura to each piece for a more aesthetic touch.
How To Get A Glowing Solstice Quest?
A Glowing Solstice becomes available from Eva Levante at the Tower after you have completed the first quest given at the start of the Solstice Event 2025.
This is the “Celebrating Solstice” quest, which is also obtained by speaking to Eva Levante, who will remain at the Tower until the end of the event.
A Glowing Solstice Quest Steps (Objectives)
Step 1: Gather enough Alloys to forge any Lustrous armor piece
You will need to get your hands on at least 100 Solstice Alloy, which can be done by doing activities during the Solstice Event, and a good suggestion would be Solo or Fireteam Ops, as these are quick.
Step 2: Forge a piece of Lustrous armor at Eva’s Solstice Forge in the Tower
After obtaining enough Solstice Alloy, proceed by forging a piece of Lustrous Armor, which should be one that you currently do not have.
Step 3: Gather enough Alloys to forge any Lustrous armor piece
Once again, you will need to grind for another batch of Solstice Alloy, which will be used later to craft another piece of Lustrous Armor.
Step 4: Forge a piece of Lustrous armor at Eva’s Solstice Forge in the Tower
Head back to Eva Levante or access the Solstice Forge from the Event Overview and craft the next piece of Lustrous Armor.
Step 5: Gather enough Alloys to forge any Lustrous armor piece
In preparation for forging the completion of a set of Lustrous armor, you will need to proceed with farming another 100 Solstice Alloy.
Step 6: Forge a piece of Lustrous armor at Eva’s Solstice Forge in the Tower
With the batch of alloy that you have just obtained, proceed with forging another piece of Lustrous armor, and you should be close to completing the whole set.
Step 7: Gather enough Alloys to forge any Lustrous armor piece
The final piece is soon at hand, and now you need to grab a last batch of Solstice Alloy to prepare for forging it.
Step 8: Forge a piece of Lustrous armor at Eva’s Solstice Forge in the Tower
Now that you have the last batch for your Lustrous armor, go ahead and make the piece to progress with the quest.
Step 9: Gather enough Alloys to forge an Incandescent Ingot for any Solstice Armor
Since you already have a complete set of Lustrous armor, the options for each piece at the Solstice Forge will now be different.
You will now be able to forge an Incandescent Ingot for each piece of armor that you have, which will cost 50 Solstice Alloy, which you will need to get for this quest step.
Step 10: Imbue your armor with Incandescent Ingot by acquiring it from the Solstice Forge
Now that you have enough Solstice Alloy, open up the Solstice Forge menu and choose one of the Lustrous armor pieces to imbue with an Incandescent Ingot.
Each Incandescent Ingot requires 50 Solstice Alloy, but right now, you only need to imbue one.
Step 11: Gather enough Alloys to forge an Incandescent Ingot for any Solstice Armor
After imbuing your first piece, proceed with farming for more Solstice Alloy so that you can go ahead and imbue a second piece of armor.
Step 12: Imbue your armor with Incandescent Ingot by acquiring it from the Solstice Forge
Time to imbue the second piece of armor, which can be done by repeating the steps of opening the Solstice Forge menu and choosing a piece of armor to be imbued.
Step 13: Gather enough Alloys to forge an Incandescent Ingot for any Solstice Armor
Setting your goal for a third piece of Lustrous armor to be imbued, you will now need to obtain another 50 Solstice Alloy for it.
Step 14: Imbue your armor with Incandescent Ingot by acquiring it from the Solstice Forge
Proceed with imbuing another piece of Lustrous armor with an Incandescent Ingot, and afterward, you will need to work on the last two.
Step 15: Gather enough Alloys to forge an Incandescent Ingot for any Solstice Armor
Now that you are working on the second-to-last piece of Lustrous armor, go ahead and do activities to obtain Solstice Alloy again.
Step 16: Imbue your armor with Incandescent Ingot by acquiring it from the Solstice Forge
Open the Solstice Forge once more, and you will need to imbue another piece of armor with an Incandescent Ingot.
Step 17: Gather enough Alloys to forge an Incandescent Ingot for any Solstice Armor
Once more pieces go and you have a whole set of glowing Lustrous Armor, but first, the last batch of Solstice Alloy needs to be collected.
Step 18: Imbue your armor with Incandescent Ingot by acquiring it from the Solstice Forge
The last piece of armor awaits, and now you can imbue it with an Incandescent Ingot to complete your fully glowing Lustrous Armor Set.
A Glowing Solstice Quest Rewards
Upon the completion of “A Glowing Solstice”, you should now have a set of Lustrous armor brimming with energy in celebration of Solstice.
Additionally, you will also receive the Solstice Keepsake after completing the last quest step.
Verdict
A new set of armor is always something to look out for in Destiny 2, especially if it has a set bonus such as that of the Lustrous Armor Set.
This set not only looks good but is also perfect for Solar builds, since it causes rapid Solar final blows to heal you, which also triggers the increase in flinch resistance, handling, and reloading speed.
Now that you have a whole set of glowing Lustrous Armor, it’s time to grab the other rewards and farm what you can until the event is done.
