The Stone Defensive Wall gives you a reliable way to turn the open perimeter of your base into a proper defensive boundary.
It is especially useful when you want to keep hostile Pals away from important structures while still leaving yourself room to design entrances and pathways.
As a stone-based defensive structure, it also offers a safer alternative to surrounding your base with flammable wooden defenses.
How To Unlock Stone Defensive Wall?
The Stone Defensive Wall becomes available at Character Level 19 and costs 2 Technology Points to unlock from the Technology menu.
Each Stone Defensive Wall requires 10 Stone to build, while the Stone Gate also unlocks at Level 19 for 2 Technology Points and requires 10 Stone.
How To Build Stone Defensive Walls?
Open the Build Menu, select the Stone Defensive Wall, and position it where you want to start forming your base’s defensive perimeter.
When building multiple walls, placing them close together allows them to snap into place, automatically connecting the sections and matching the height of the wall they snap to.
You can also place sections slightly farther apart while keeping them connected if you want more control over their spacing, while rotating each piece helps you align the walls around corners and different sections of your base.
For an entrance, leave an opening between your wall sections and place a Stone Gate there, giving you a proper passage while keeping the rest of the perimeter enclosed.
Stone Defensive Wall Uses
The main purpose of the Stone Defensive Wall is to create a barrier around your base that makes it harder for hostile Pals to reach the structures and Pals inside.
You can build several sections together to surround your base, then use Stone Gates wherever you need an entrance for yourself and your Pals.
The walls can also be used to divide different areas of a large base, giving you more control over how open or enclosed each section feels.
Stone Defensive Wall Benefits
Stone Defensive Walls have 20,000 HP, making them considerably more durable than ordinary defensive structures and well suited to protecting your base during attacks.
They are also a clear upgrade from wooden defensive walls because stone structures do not burn, removing a major weakness during attacks involving Fire Pals.
A well-placed perimeter can also redirect enemies toward a single entrance or block off certain paths, making it easier to control where attackers can reach your base.
Using Stone Gates for that entrance gives you a controlled access point while keeping the rest of the perimeter sealed.
Verdict
The Stone Defensive Wall is a worthwhile defensive upgrade once you reach Level 19 and want your base perimeter to provide serious protection.
Its stone construction makes it a safer choice than wooden defenses, while Stone Gates let you build entrances without leaving unnecessary gaps in the wall.
With only 10 Stone required per section, it is also practical for enclosing a large base and creating a properly fortified perimeter.
