Beakon Cryst (Location, Drops, Uses, Partner Skill & Work Suitability): Palworld

Ice Pals can be especially dangerous against Dragon enemies, giving players a reliable way to exploit one of the most useful elemental advantages in combat.

Beakon Cryst brings that advantage to the skies, making it an interesting choice for players who want to combine aerial exploration with an Ice-focused combat setup.

If you are building a party around Ice Pals, Beakon Cryst becomes even more appealing as you start putting together a team that complements its strengths.

Beakon Cryst Location

Exploring Boreal Summit and the surrounding icy areas near the Forbidden Laboratory and Abandoned Laboratory in the World Tree will allow you to find Beakon Cryst throughout the region.

Beakon Cryst Spawn Locations include:

Partner Skill

Father Winter’s Threat

Beakon Cryst’s Partner Skill is called Coldsnap, allowing it to be ridden as a flying mount while changing the player’s attack type to Ice and increasing Attack by 5%.

The real advantage comes from its Movement Speed bonus, which increases by 5% for every other Ice Pal in your party, making an Ice-heavy team directly improve Beakon Cryst’s flying speed.

At maximum Partner Skill level, the Attack bonus reaches 20%, while the Movement Speed bonus can reach 25% for each other Ice Pal.

This makes Beakon Cryst particularly interesting for players who want to build around several Ice Pals rather than simply using it as a standalone mount.

Beakon Cryst Exclusive Skills

Glacial Plunge

Glacial Plunge is Beakon Cryst’s exclusive Ice skill, causing ice to erupt beneath the target before Beakon Cryst rushes forward, sending more ice bursting from the ground along its path.

The skill has 600 Power, giving Beakon Cryst a strong attack that combines its aerial movement with heavy Ice damage.

Beakon Cryst Uses

Beakon Cryst shines when you commit to an Ice-focused party, with every additional Ice Pal helping increase its movement speed while giving you more options for exploiting Dragon weaknesses.

Changing your own attacks to Ice also means you can bring elemental damage into fights without depending entirely on your active Pals to handle the matchup.

Its flying mount gives you a fast way to cover the map, while its Ice skills allow it to remain useful when you dismount and let it fight alongside you.

At your base, Cooling 5 makes Beakon Cryst useful for Refrigerators, Cooler Boxes, and other facilities that require Cooling, while Transporting 5 lets it move items around the base.

Work Suitability

  • Gathering – Lv. 2
  • Cooling – Lv. 5
  • Transporting – Lv. 5

Possible Drops

Beakon Cryst Drops

  • Ice Organ

Verdict

Beakon Cryst becomes much more interesting when you build your party around Ice, turning your other Ice Pals into a direct boost to its flying speed.

Being able to switch your own attacks to Ice gives it a useful place in Dragon-focused battles, while Glacial Plunge gives Beakon Cryst a powerful attack of its own.

It is also a solid base worker when you are finished exploring, with Cooling and Transporting giving it useful jobs beyond simply carrying you through the World Tree.
