Warframe: How to Get Mag & Mag Prime (2026) Guide

Mag is a Warframe built around powerful magnetic manipulation, allowing her to control enemy movement, twist projectiles, and dismantle groups with her abilities.

She excels at redirecting attacks, stripping defenses, and turning hostile fire into devastating explosions that punish enemies for entering her magnetic fields.

Mag offers an adaptable playstyle that combines crowd control and high-damage setups, making her especially effective against shielded enemies.

How To Get Mag?

Mag can be purchased for 225 Platinum, or you can obtain her by farming her Main Blueprint and Component Blueprints and crafting them once acquired.

Blueprint and Components Blueprints

Mag’s main blueprint is available from the Market for 25,000 Credits, letting you begin crafting her as soon as all component blueprints are obtained.

Her component blueprints drop from The Sergeant on Iliad, Phobos, with each mission rewarding one random blueprint per successful kill.

Mag and her blueprints can also be unlocked through The Circuit in The Duviri Paradox by selecting her during her rotation and reaching Tier 10 rewards.

Warframe Mag Builds (2025) Guide

Mag Abilities

Passive Ability

Mag automatically pulls in items that are within 8 meters towards her, making it easy to collect items that enemies have dropped.

This passive does not stack with Vacuum or Fetch, and instead, equipping these mods will override her ability to automatically pull items.

1) Pull

Mag stuns enemies and manifests a magnetic vortex that pulls in Polarize Shards and stunned enemies towards her.

This causes enemies that are pulled to be tossed around or even fall to their death if they end up in certain landing areas.

Augment Mods:

  • Greedy Pull provides the ability with a chance to pull pickups towards Mag. Obtained from The Perrin Sequence/New Loka.

2) Magnetize

Tapping the ability encloses a target in a magnetic field that deals damage to enemies over time, which also pulls Polarize Shards and shrapnel to add to the damage.

Holding the ability causes Mag to surround herself in a magnetic field that absorbs ranged attacks, reflecting them to enemies in a cone.

3) Polarize

Mag emits an energy pulse that depletes enemy shields and armor while restoring ally shields, creating Polarize Shards in the process.

Polarize Shards orbit around Mag and cut enemies that come in contact, inflicting the Slash Status Effect on them.

Magnetizes the bones of nearby enemies, suspending them in the air before collapsing them upon themselves.

Enemies affected by Crush are knocked down after being suspended and taking damage, while each enemy hit also recovers allies’ shields.
