The Galatine Prime, a melee weapon, is a heavy sword and the Prime variant of the Galatine, this sword is massive in size and is capable of chopping down foes like a knife slicing through butter.
The Galatine Prime is the Prime variant of the Galatine, an iconic heavy sword.
The Galatine Prime has the following stats:
- Attack Speed: Has an attack animation of 1.
- Critical Chance: Has a 20% chance of dealing a critical hit. (10% for Galatine)
- Critical Multiplier: Critical attacks deal 2x damage.
- Damage Block: 85% of damage is blocked from enemy melee attacks.
- Leap Attack: Deals 165 damage (125for Galatine)
- Spin Attack: Deals 330 (250 for Galatine)
- Status: Has a 20% chance to proc status effects.
- Wall Attack: Deals 330 damage (250 for Galatine)
- Damage Type: Deals 4.1 Impact, 156.8 Slash and 4.1 Puncture (3.1 Impact, 118.8 Slash and 3.1 Puncture for Galatine)
The Galatine Prime requires a Mastery Rank of 13 before it may be used by players. It can be built using its blueprints and Prime parts.
In order to acquire the Galatine Prime, it must be crafted after obtaining its blueprint.
These contain the blueprint and parts required to craft the Galatine Prime:
- Blueprint: Meso G1, Axi G1
- Blade: Lith S7, Meso C2, Meso S2, Meso S4, Meso S6, Neo N6, Neo V2, Neo V3, Axi N4, Axi O2
- Handle: Lith S5, Neo V2, Neo Z1, Axi K2, Axi O1, Axi V6
All of the relics are currently vaulted but ones that players currently possess may still be opened.
The Galatine Prime is a massive heavy sword and being as large as it is, it has a huge swing radius which can hit multiple enemies in one swing.
With its huge momentum it is able to proceed with its swings being unstoppable by most enemies and when modded well it can make up for its weight allowing it to be swung with great force and speed.
Below are a few sample builds:
Blood Rush Build
This build is made up using Primed Pressure Point/Pressure Point and Buzz Kill for a base overall damage increase.
Berserker and Primed Fury/Fury are added for an increase in attack speed, Primed Reach/Reach for a larger swing radius.
The critical mods True Steel and Organ Shatter are included for critical chance and for a higher critical multiplier.
This build utilizes Blood Rush as its main mod using it to increase the overall critical chance depending on the combo meter which also increased damage, thus allowing a very high damage output.
The strategy for this build is to use the combo meter to provide a higher critical chance dramatically raising the damage output.
A higher critical chance will result in Berserker triggering more often making the attack speed boost almost always active.
With the swift attacks and high critical chance, the Galatine Prime is guaranteed to deal an immense amount of damage in a rapid slicing unstoppable manner.
Maiming Strike Build
Our Galatine’s Maiming Strike build replaces Primed Fury/Fury with Maiming Strike which will cause a very high chance of dealing critical hits when doing a spin attack.
The spin attack critical chance is additive with Blood Rush and will guarantee critical hits with higher combo counters.
The purpose of this build is to utilize Maiming Strike for its critical chance which means spin attacks will be used often.
One can simply repeat or only use spin attacks when attacking or do a series of hits followed by finishing the enemies off with a spin attack, whichever is more comfortable.
Elemental Critical Build
This is similar to the previous builds except its focuses on elemental damage rather physical, thus trading off Buzz Kill and Maiming Strike for 2 elemental damage mods.
The mods will combine into an element combination that scales off of the base damage the Galatine Prime has.
The use of this build is to deal heavy amounts of elemental damage to enemies along with a chance to deal critical hits with the addition of Blood Rush to the mods.
This proves effective when used against enemies that are weak against the selected element from combining mods as well as having a chance to proc its status effect.
Deviating from the critical type of builds we have the status build which makes use of the four elemental damage and status mods.
We keep Primed Pressure Point/Pressure Point, Primed Fury/Fury and Primed Reach while adding Condition Overload to the build.
This build maintains high damage by not only dealing elemental damage to enemies which may deal extra damage to certain types of enemies.
The build also has the ability to proc status effects which may different effects resulting in different damages being done to the enemy long with inflicting them with different statuses.
These alone make the build strong, however we have Condition Overload causing the attacks of the Galatine Prime to deal an extra 60% damage for every type of status effect the target is inflicted with.
For choosing a desired combination of elements the user may rearrange the elemental damage and status mods as they see fit.
These are not the only builds available for the Galatine Prime, but they are pretty useful in many situations.
There are tons of ways to mod this weapon and it all can vary depending on the user and their choice of mods.
The Galatine Prime is one of the most massive and powerful melee weapons in the game not only because of its physical damage but its status and critical chance as well.
Along with its powerful swings that can ignore interruption from enemies, it deals mighty blows capable of knocking enemies away or even killing them with a single blow.
This weapon is very capable of causing mass destruction in a large area and is a weapon to be reckoned with.
