Armor plays a big part in Palworld when it comes to staying protected against enemies, especially when you reach the more challenging stages of the game.
With the Home Sweet Home update now live, players can make new additions to the game, including the V1 Armor from ULTRAKILL.
Added to the game as part of a collaboration with ULTRAKILL, this set of armor overrides your whole character’s appearance, but helmets can still be equipped for their stats.
How To Unlock & Craft V1 Armor?
The V1 Armor can be unlocked by spending 3 Ancient Technology Points to unlock the ULTRAKILL Collab Set 1 in the Technology Menu once you reach Level 32.
The ULTRAKILL Collab Set 1 includes both the V1 Armor and the Marksman Revolver, making both of them available at their respective crafting stations.
Once you have unlocked the collaboration set, you may craft the V1 Armor at a Production Assembly Line or a better crafting station:
- 15 High Quality Pal Oil
- 30 Ingot
V1 Armor Stats & Features
The V1 Armor provides 51 Defense, 806 Health, and has 1450 Durability, which is relatively close to the same tier of Metal Armor and Refined Metal Armor.
This armor features the Heat Resistant Lv. 1 and Cold Resistant Lv. 1 perks, as well as a new perk called Blood is Fuel.
Blood if Fuel causes you and your pals to regenerate health based on the damage that you deal in combat, making this a great choice for survivability in fights.
How To Get Legendary V1 Armor?
The Legendary V1 Armor features the same traits as the standard variation, but features improved stats that help you face tougher challenges as you progress through the game.
You may purchase the V1 Armor Schematic 4 (Legendary) for 780 Dog Coins from Medal Merchants who are often found near the churches across the Palpagos Islands.
Below is a comparison of the stats of the standard V1 Armor and its legendary variant:
Stat | Standard | Legendary |
Defense | 51 | 608 |
| Health | 806 | 2,112 |
Durability | 1,450 | 72,000 |
Tips for Using V1 Armor
With V1 Armor, you get a decent boost in stats, but it won’t be as good as the legendary version, so you might want to save up on Dog Coins along the way.
What makes this armor great is its ability to restore your health as well as that of your Pals based on the damage you deal to your enemies.
In tough situations, taking cover and utilizing what methods you can to deal damage safely can change the outcome of a losing fight to help you recover when you need it most.
It would be a good idea to choose a helmet that provides you with the best stats possible, or that has a certain trait you need if you are going for a certain build with your character.
Verdict
The V1 Armor is extremely helpful since it helps you recover health, making it a great choice for armor once you reach Level 32.
Since the standard version does not provide that much defense, it is a good idea to choose a helm that can make up for this.
As you progress through the game, sometimes it may be better to aim to get the Legendary V2 armor instead of the Legendary V1 Armor once you have enough Dog Coins.
