Tetroise may look like a slow-moving stone fortress at first glance, but getting the right gear turns it into a surprisingly useful mount for travelling around Palpagos.
Its real value, however, comes from Masonry Archelon, which can strengthen the Mining Work Suitability of other Pals stationed at the same base.
To unlock both the ability to ride Tetroise and this mining-focused Partner Skill, you’ll need to obtain its saddle and craft it with the required materials.
How To Get Tetroise Saddle?
The Tetroise Saddle becomes available when your character reaches Level 48, costing 3 Technology Points to unlock the recipe.
Tetroise Saddle requires the following materials:
- 32 Leather
- 20 High Quality Cloth
- 30 Refined Ingot
- 45 Paldium Fragment
Tetroise Saddle Effects
The saddle makes Tetroise rideable, giving you access to its ground mount while also activating the Partner Skill that defines its main utility.
Masonry Archelon increases the Mining Work Suitability Level of every other Pal stationed at the same base by +1, making it particularly useful for mining-focused operations.
The bonus remains at +1 Mining Work Suitability across all five Partner Skill levels and does not stack, so increasing Condensation does not improve this particular effect.
Tetroise Uses
The saddle makes Tetroise rideable as a ground mount, while its Masonry Archelon Partner Skill provides additional utility when Tetroise is stationed at your base.
Because the effect applies to every other Base Pal, a single Tetroise can support an entire mining operation and is more useful there than simply treating it as another worker with Mining Lv.4.
When you want to leave the base, its saddle gives you the option to bring Tetroise along as a large ground mount instead of keeping it permanently assigned to your mining operation.
Verdict
Tetroise’s saddle is particularly valuable because it unlocks a Partner Skill that can benefit an entire mining base while also giving you a hefty ground mount for travelling.
The +1 Mining Work Suitability bonus is already at full strength from the first Partner Skill level, so there is no need to invest in Condensation purely to improve this effect.
If you’re building a dedicated mining operation, Tetroise earns its place through its base-wide support, while the ability to ride it gives you an added reason to keep one around.
