Ghangler’s saddle unlocks its full potential as a water mount, letting you ride it while activating its unique Master of Darkness Partner Skill.
The skill makes Ghangler faster for every other Dark or Water Pal in your party, giving the saddle an added mobility benefit beyond simply allowing you to ride.
With the right party setup, Ghangler can become a surprisingly quick option for travelling across water while still giving you the freedom to build around its other strengths.
How To Get Ghangler Saddle?
The Ghangler Saddle becomes available at Character Level 31 for 3 Technology Points, once you have obtained Ghangler.
Ghangler Saddle requires the following materials:
- 20 Leather
- 10 Cloth
- 20 Ingot
- 10 Cryogenic Coolant
- 25 Paldium Fragment
Ghangler Saddle Effects
The saddle allows you to ride Ghangler across water, giving you a dedicated aquatic mount for travelling over rivers, lakes, and other bodies of water.
Master of Darkness increases Ghangler’s movement speed by 5% for every other Dark or Water Pal in your party, with Ghangler itself excluded from the calculation.
The bonus scales with Ghangler’s Partner Skill level, reaching 9%, 13%, 18%, and 25% per qualifying Pal as its condensation increases, making a matching party significantly improve its speed.
Ghangler Uses
Ghangler’s Partner Skill makes it particularly effective when you build your party around Dark and Water Pals, allowing multiple teammates to contribute toward its movement speed bonus.
A party filled with qualifying Pals can push Ghangler’s speed much higher, making the mount more appealing when you need to cover large stretches of water quickly.
The saddle therefore works best when you take advantage of Master of Darkness rather than treating Ghangler as simply another mount for crossing water.
Verdict
Ghangler’s saddle is what turns it from a regular Pal into a specialized water mount with a movement bonus tied directly to your party composition.
Master of Darkness gives you a reason to bring other Dark or Water Pals alongside Ghangler, with each matching Pal increasing its movement speed.
If you want a water mount that becomes faster through team building rather than relying solely on its base movement, Ghangler’s saddle gives it a useful niche.
