With the release of the Feybreak Update, Palworld gained new vegetables that have not only been added to the types of edible foods but also ingredients for cooking.
One of these vegetables is Carrots but before you can get any, you will need to get your hands on Carrot Seeds to start growing them.
Carrot Seeds can be obtained in different ways, with the easiest being hunting certain Pals that encounter after you have progressed a bit.
How To Get Carrot Seeds?
Carrot Seeds can easily be obtained by hunting down certain Pals but there is also a chance to get them when looting some of the chests you encounter while exploring.
Your best option and the fastest way to get Carrots Seeds would be to target some of the Grass Pals that are found on the Palpagos Islands.
The following are the Pals that can be defeated or captured to obtain Carrot Seeds:
- Bristla
- Dinossom
- Dinossom Lux
- Prunelia
- Wumpo Botan
Carrot Seed Uses
Carrot Seeds are used to build Carrot Plantation, which is a structure that may be built to grow an unlimited supply of Carrots.
This structure will require that you or your Pals interact with it to plant seeds and water them afterward, which starts the growth process.
After the Carrot Plantation has been tended to, you may collect Carrots from it once its growth process has finished. (The process of planting and watering needs to be done each time)
Best Way to Grow Carrots
The best way to grow Carrots at a Carrot Plantation would be to have your Pals take care of everything for you, which requires that all the Pals needed are at your base.
This means that you need Pals who have Planting, Watering, and Gathering, which can be a combination of different Pals or those who have multiple skills.
Keeping a Feedbox nearby is a good way to have storage for the Carrots that grow, and Pals may transfer them and store them there.
Once you have all the necessary Pals at your base that may tend to the Carrot Plantation, you can expect an unending supply of Carrots at your base.
Verdict
Carrot Seeds don’t need to be farmed in large amounts as you only need 3 seeds for each plantation, making it necessary to just get as much as you need.
Once you have built a Carrot Plantation, planting seeds won’t require you to have more Carrot Seeds, and this will already be a continuous supply of this type of food.
If you intend on having multiple Carrot Plantations, the need to obtain more seeds will be necessary but one plantation should suffice since you will have an unlimited source of Carrots afterward.
