Destiny 2: Season of the Splicer Exotics (Weapons & Armor)

Destiny 2 Season of the Splicer Exotics

Exotic Gear often comes with every new season, and things are no different with Season of the Splicer, as there are new Exotics for you to mix and match with your builds.

There are a few Exotics as of Week 6 and this includes two weapons and three armor pieces, all of them being leg parts for each class.

All of these must be obtained regularly in the game but will most likely be available as past content after the end of Season 14.

Season of the Splicer Exotic Weapons

There are currently two Season of the Splicer Exotic Weapons, which are the Cryothesia 77k and the Vex Mythoclast.

Cryosthesia 77K (Sidearm)

The Cryosthesia 77k is obtained early on when you start in Season 14 and those who have purchased a Season Pass will get it at Rank 1 while others obtain it at Rank 35.

Its Intrinsic Trait is LN2 Burst, which allows you to use two different firing modes, the first being a press and release for individual shots and a held trigger for Charged Shots.

Charged Shots can be done when Liquid Cooling is enabled, which happens when you deal a final blow with the Cryosthesia 77k.

Vex Mythoclast (Vex Mythoclast)

The Vex Mythoclast is a powerful Fusion Rifle, which fires single shots instead of bursts like most Fusion Rifles.

With its Temporal Limiter trait, the Vex Mythoclast can swap to fire Charged Shots by holding the trigger to charge up before releasing.

Its Intrinsic Trait is called Timeless Mythoclass, which allows the Vex Mythoclast to fire one bolt every time the trigger is pulled.

Season of the Splicer Exotic Armor

Below are the different Exotic Armors that you can obtain during Season of the Splicer, all of them being leg parts, one for each class.

Star-Eater Scales (Hunter Leg Armor)

The Star-Eater Scales is the Season of the Splicer Exotic Leg Armor for the Hunter class, it has the Armor Perk called Feast of Light.

Feast of Light causes your character to gain additional Super Energy when you pick up Orbs of Power, and if your Super Energy is full, it will overcharge your Supper.

This grants you healing and adds a bonus to your Super Damage while having a max overcharge will provide you with overshields.

Path of the Burning Steps

The Season of the Splicer Exotic Leg Armor for Titans is The Path of the Burning Steps Leg Armor, which focuses greatly on solar damage.

With the Firewalker Perk, your Solar final blows will grant you additional damage which escalates from time to time.

It will be harder to slow or freeze you with Stasis abilities and breaking out of stasis no longer damages you, instead, you create a burst of Solar energy around you.

Boots of the Assembler

The Boots of the Assembler is an Exotic Leg Armor for Warlocks, giving you and your fireteam more support when using rifts with the Blessing of Order perk.

Using a healing rift will send out Noble Seekers to heal allies who are not in the rift while an empowering rift creates Noble Seekers who boost you and your ally’s damage.

The duration of your rift will increase each time a Noble Seeker finds one of your allies, prolonging it for a longer buff.

Verdict

Exotic Weapons usually contain the same stats and can be improved later on with catalysts, whilst the Season 14 Leg Armors have random stats.

You will be able to obtain Exotic Gear from previous seasons once the current one has been finished and a new one has started.

Equipping Exotic Gear is a great way of boosting your character’s capabilities, especially when you tie the right perks to your build.
