Diablo 4 Zakarum Remnants (How to Get, Rank & Location)

The Season of Hatred offers a new reward system, which is the Zakarum Remnants Rank and you can get your hands on a lot of goods by collecting them.

Obtaining these rewards is as simple as killing enemies and there is an easy set of steps you can take for completing these quickly.

By obtaining Zakarum Remnants, you will be able to increase your rank and collect rewards for each tier, and to top things off, this can be done for more than one character.

How To Get Zakarum Remnant?

Defeat Realmwalkers

Realmwalker is the newest activity introduced in Season 6, which involves you hunting down large monsters that have portals on their backs.

Once you have taken down a Realmwalker, you will obtain Zakarum Remnants and this will also open a portal to a Seething Realm, where you can obtain even more remnants.

Slay Monsters In Seething Realms

Completing a Seething Realm will allow you to obtain rewards but while you are inside of them, you will be able to obtain Zakarum Remnant when slaying enemies.

Certain enemies that you encounter in a Seething Realm will provide you with Zakarum Remnants based on how powerful they are.

Slay Monsters In Hatred Rising Zones

Another way to get Zakarum Remnants is to head to areas that are marked with the Hatred Rising icon, which is also where Realmwalkers often spawn.

Even without fighting Realmwalkers, you can obtain Zakarum Remnants in these marked regions by defeating enemies.

Activating Seething Opals (Currently Bugged)

One of the methods for obtaining Zakarum Remnants is to consume a Seething Opal of any type, which is supposed to allow you to gain remnants when you defeat enemies anywhere.

This currently seems to be bugged as you will obtain Zakarum Remnant on the first kill but afterwards, it seems to stop. (We will update this once it has been fixed)

Best Way To Farm Zakarum Remnants

The best way to get your hands on Zakarum Remnants is to head over to where Realmwalkers have spawned (or are about to spawn) and defeat them.

Proceed with going into the Seething Portal and kill as many enemies as possible (clear the whole dungeon out) before defeating the Sentinel Guardians.

Once you have completed the Seething Realm and there are no other Realmwalkers, you may continue to farm Zakarum Remnants in Hatred Rising areas.

Zakarum Remnants Rank

Zakarum Remnants that you accumulate will add to your Zakarum Remnants Rank, which is capped once you reach Tier 12.

For every tier that you reach with your Zakarum Remnants, you will be able to obtain rewards from Crusader Damond.

These rewards can be obtained again for each character that you create and will include the following for each rank:

Where To Find Crusader Damond?

Crusader Damond will always be in Zarbinzet, which is in Hawezar (Umir Plateau), and this is where you can check your Zakarum Remnants Rank.

After completing the Season Quest (Creeping Hatred), Crusader Damond does not appear on your map for some reason but once you head to Zarbinzet, you will see his icon.

Verdict

With the new Realmwalker and Seething Realm activity available, you can easily rack up Zakarum Remnants to get all the rewards from Crusader Damond.

Farming Zakarum Remnants is best done with a powerful build, so you can quickly eat your way through enemies to rank up faster.

Until the Seething Opal bug is fixed, it would be best to resort to sticking to Realmwalkers and Seething Realms until they are fixed.
