Realmwalkers are part of the new activity that was introduced in Diablo 4 Season 6, where you need to destroy these large creatures to enter the Seething Realm.
These large beasts with a portal on their back, which causes Hatred to seep into the land around them, causing monsters to appear.
These large behemoths must be hunted down not only to put a stop to the forces they spawn but also for some juicy loot that you can get from the Seething Realm.
How To Find Realmwalkers?
Realmwalker will appear in areas where the Hatred Rising icon appears and this can be checked at any time when you view your map. (Green icon)
If a Realmwalker notification appears, this means that one is about to emerge from the ground, and you can head to it early before the activity starts.
If a Realmwalker has already emerged, it won’t show on the map unless you are in the area and instead, you may head to the Hatred Rising area to check where it is located.
How To Defeat Realmwalkers?
Slay Realmwalker Minions
As the Realmwalker begins to move, you will need to follow it around and slay the minions that it spawns, which will eventually anger it. (Shown by a meter in objectives)
Once the Realmwalker has been angered, Bloodbound Guardians will appear, and you will need to slay them to damage the Realmwalker’s health.
Destroy Hatred Spires
The Realmwalker will eventually spawn Hatred Spires if you damage it enough or if it has traveled far, which gives you 2 minutes to destroy them.
A Realmwalker can spawn Hatred Spires even at full health as this may happen if it has traveled a certain distance.

Defeat the Realmwalker
Once the Hatred Spires have been destroyed, you will be able to damage the Realmwalker and this will allow you to put it down for good.
You will know that the Realmwalker may be damaged once its health turns from grey to red, meaning it is no longer invulnerable.
Realmwalker Rewards
After you have defeated a Realmwalker, you will get a ton of Zakarum Remnants, Experience, and Gold but no loot drops as there is more to the activity.
When a Realmwalker is defeated, a portal to the Seething Realm will open and you may continue the activity by entering it.
Within the Seething Realm, you will be able to obtain various rewards after choosing a Realm Bonus from the Realm Gate and defeating the Sentinel Guardians at the Seething Wellspring.
Verdict
Taking on the Realmwalker is just the beginning since you still have the Seething Realm to enter and complete to get the real rewards.
Fighting the Realmwalker is a good way to obtain Zakarum Remnants as you will be killing several enemies, and it provides remnants when destroyed.
Other players will often be after the Realmwalker as well but only you and your party will meet inside of the Seething Realm once you enter the portal that it opens.
