After sending Lorath and Tharra to search for the remaining piece of the blade, you made your way to the Eye Pedestal and activated it by placing the Sightless Eye.
Along the way, you endured what seemed to be Mephisto reaching out, hinting at a growing connection that needs to be dealt with immediately.
Your next step is to use the Sightless Eye once more and find Lilith within the Mind’s Eye to understand what is happening and what to do next.
How To Get The Soil, The Seed, The Fruit Quest?
You obtain this quest after completing the quest called A Door Was Opened, which had you making your way towards the Eye Pedestal.
Along the way, it seems that Mephisto’s grasp became stronger, capable of causing immense pain and even summoning demons to attack you.

After receiving this quest, interact with the Sightless Eye and fight your way past the monsters found within The Mind’s Eye.
Eventually, you will reach Lilith, who finally decides to speak with you, and the two of you continue to explore Mephisto’s memories now that he has also made a connection with you.
During this quest, you will reach certain locations where connections need to be made to bring chains to parts of The Mind’s Eye to unlock paths to push forward.
Standing in the areas marked with a circle will allow you to access the changes and later bring them to the areas that need to be cleared.
Continue following Lilith and exploring Mephisto’s Memories until the two of you end up facing the Memory of Inarius.
The Memory of Inarius can be a tough opponent to face, especially with his many attacks and incredible speed that he uses against you.
During the fight, the Memory of Inarius will be weakened to a certain point where his health can no longer be damaged.
This requires that you head to the chain devices and stay within their area to use them before bringing them back to the Memory of Inarius to chain him.
This must be done 4 times, and after the final chain, you will be able to finally defeat him and later speak to him to reveal the information that he has.
After speaking to the Memory of Inarius, you and Lilith will need to continue inspecting Mephisto’s Memories, leading you to once more involve the Pool of Creation.
A cutscene plays when you speak to her, and after it finishes, you are to leave the area with Lilith and will need to speak to her once more before returning to Sanctuary using the Sightless Eye.
The Soil, The Seed, The Fruit Quest Rewards
After leaving The Mind’s Eye, the quest will be complete, and a new quest called The Rising Tide will begin, which sets you on your way to Athulua.

Defeating the Memory of Inarius will also cause the Father’s Visage (Mount Trophy) to drop alongside other loot that can help you strengthen your character.
