The first piece of the blade has been obtained, and while the group made off with it, you were cut off by one of the Hands of Akarat, who put up quite the fight after transforming.
Now that they have been taken care of, it’s time to leave Young Rathma’s Refuge to meet up with Lorath and Tharra.
Something is off, though, and you seem to be having a drawback from what has recently transpired, making it necessary to also check in with Lilith.
How To Get A Door Was Opened Quest?
A Door Was Opened becomes your active quest after the completion of The Path of Riddles, where you previously obtained the blade’s hilt.
Now with one of the parts in hand, the group needs to figure out where the other two are if they are to rebuild the blade and take on Mephisto.
A Door Was Opened Walkthrough
As the quest begins, you will need to make your way through the portal and meet up with Lorath and Tharra, who will be nearby.
Speak to Lorath, which will start a dialogue between you two where the sudden pain returns, revealing Mephisto now has a connection to you.
You reveal this to Lorath and Tharra, which results in you staying behind to find a way to contact Lilith as the two search for the other part in Athulua.
Once Lorath and Tharra have left, you will need to follow the Blood Petals that will lead you to an Eye Pedestal, which needs to be interacted with to place the Sightless Eye.
As you make your way through the marked areas and follow the Blood Petals, there will be moments when you are attacked by Mephito’s minions.
Continue fighting your way through each area and make your way to the Eye Pedestal to interact with it, which will complete the quest.
A Door Was Opened Quest Rewards
After placing the Sightless Eye on the Eye Pedestal, the quest will be complete, and you will receive a new quest called The Soil, The Seed, The Fruit.
In addition to the next quest being unlocked, you also receive:

After meeting up with Lorath and Tharra, it becomes clear that something is wrong as Mephisto’s influence begins to take hold of you.
While the two of them move ahead, you continue alone toward an Eye Pedestal and successfully activate it by placing the Sightless Eye.
With the connection opened, you prepare to enter the Mind’s Eye once more in search of Lilith, hoping to understand what is happening and what must be done next.
